I hope nobody has to go through what we went through hiring this company. What was scheduled to be a week job turned into a month ordeal. Average work but left a mess behind. Total headache. Had to call him everyday to get the work done. We had the house on the market and could not let people see the house until he was through. 3 months we waited. Completely unprofessional.

Paid for services and no work ever done

Awful!!! They started a job then vanished with the deposit. I also had to hire another floor company who had to restart almost from the beginning because it was not done right to begin with! I was promised my money back but never got it.

If you want any work done, DO NOT HIRE this company. Herbie requires you pay half up front and even shows up early to collect it before any work is done. After that, nothing will happen but excuses. I want my money back as this company is a complete waste of time and patience. This has set my other projects back by weeks dealing with him. You will be out of your money and your time. You have been warned, do no believe all the positive reviews as they must have been faked. You have been warned.

In the onset, he talks good game and very personable. He talks about how he learned from his father and grew up in the business and seemed very trustworthy and understands to make commitments. Instead, he has my money and no work done.

Herbie is a nice guy, but we need our deck completed.

The owner appears to be a nice guy; however, his words do not carry any weight because he is constantly making excuses of why deadlines are not met. I would not recommend his services.

The finished deck is of good quality, however, not as agreed upon. Bumble bee traps were promised, but not delivered. A landing on the stairs was promised, but not delivered. Support beams were supposed to be concreted in the ground, not delivered. He was supposed to haul all garbage to the landfill, but garbage remained. Some of which was water bottles and lunch wrappers from the crew. He was never on time and did not show when HE stated he would. Although the contract was for half the money up front and final payment when the job was done, he nickled and dimed my father in law with the excuse to pay his crew. I would definitely would not recommend this contractor!

The owner of this small company followed up with me immediately for initial visit. He then got lost. Once he arrived he quickly agreed to work needed and requested deposit of 1/2 total estimate (cash or check only, no credit card accepted). He then missed scheduled date of work 3 times, without a call to follow up and inform me. I only learned of further delays (and excuses) when I called him. A month has passed and I have no work to show for the deposit I made. I have now requested full refund for delay of service.

Very fast response and questions and concerns address promptly. Herbie worked with me to ensure I was satisfied. I will surely use Herbie on other projects.

Great job. Asked alpha to hang shutters and replace rotted wood on windows. Done fast and for a great price. Already have next project in mind for alpha!

Herbie and company are so awesome and he will go out of his way to ensure quality work for very reasonable prices. Herbie is very personable and he is the kind of person you can have over for a family dinner, make the kids smile and you end up with a shiny new refinished deck or floor or anything!

I hired Alpha to paint my Master bedroom and bathroom. They suggested I paint the dark wood trim white and I'm so glad I did. I'd been thinking about that for a while. Their price was reasonable and they did a very good job. Will hire them again.

I hired Alpha Remodeling for a balcony staining at my home. Very friendly team. Professional and thorough with a lot of experience. I would hire them again for any interior or exterior work I have and I absolutely recommend this company.

Mr. Holder did an outstanding job on cleaning and sealing our new deck. The work was done in a timely manner and as promised. He went above and beyond the original scope of the work and did it at a fair, competitive price.

They did a great job and they even took care of things in the rain!
