Richard came out because I had a mold problem in the crawl space. He was on time, gave much better advice than the other companies, and it all made sense to me. I would definitely recommend Alpine to anyone with mold problems, they were quick and affordable.

I hired Richard back in September when we were selling our house and the inspection report came back as having a mold issue in our crawl space. He came out to give us an inspection, free I might add, and put our minds at ease after the initial consultation. We decided to hire him on the spot. He returned that same week and the job was completed in just two days. That was great because our due diligence period was ending and we needed someone that not only knew about mold but could move quickly so the closing wasn’t held up. The cost was also lower than other companies we had come out. I’d recommend his services to anyone in need of mold remediation.

I hired Richard to remediate the mold in my crawlspace and to put plastic down on the dirt floor. The space is cleaner than ever and I added a dehumidifier. I haven’t had an issue since the work was done!

Richard came out to inspect our basement for mold and was very respectful and he helped put our minds at ease with his detailed explanation of what had occurred and what he felt was necessary. My husband and I were very worried that the white mold growing on the ceiling was going to cost a fortune to resolve and when we found out it really wasn't too serious we were delighted and we hired him same day. Richard came out following day and was able to remove and treat the mold. He also installed a dehumidifier to ensure that it would never grow again and with a 20 year warranty we could sleep well again knowing the problem had been solved. I would recommend Richard to all of my friends and already have.

I cannot recommend Richard enough. He was very knowledgeable and the work was quick and clean. This will hopefully be the last mold that we find in our house, but I would not hesitate with using Richard again if the need arose.

When I called my HVAC Company, Casteel, they told me they would not touch the duct works until an Air Quality Sample report and Air Testing was completed by a 3rd party. They referred me to a different company who wanted $1000 to come out and complete the testing. I found Ethical Aspect LLC through this site and they offered a free evaluation. Upon arrival, Richard examined the substance coming out of the ducts, confirmed that it was mold and shared with me a remediation plan which included removing all the existing duct work, doing a deep cleaning of the HVAC system and then cleanup. He was available to start the work immediately. I appreciated his concern for both saving me money by skipping unnecessary costly tests, and in the manner in which he treated my property as if it were his own. I highly recommend his work.

We called Ethical Aspects and mentioned that our family was sick and needed to make sure there wasn't mold in the house. In my conversation with Richard, he asked a few critical questions and told me it didn't sound like a mold issue at all. Then (and this is the amazing thing) he told me he would still like to come by the house just to make sure. He said "while I can't charge you, if your family isn't feeling well, let's just make sure there isn't a mold issue". He stopped by the house, did an inspection and didn't find anything. While there isn't any work to be done today, if we ever have an issue or if any of our friends have an issue, we know exactly who will be getting a call.

I had a smell I suspected was mold and a leak in a pipe in my crawlspace. Richard came to do an inspection and evaluation. He spent time pointing out potential contributors to some minor mold growth in my crawlspace and suggested DIY fixes, going into depth on an equipment list I could buy at Home Depot/Lowes to do the work myself and also pointing out which equipment/pumps in my crawlspace that already exist are in good working order and do not need replaced. Additionally he did not suspect that mold was the root cause of the problem, and did not try to 'fake' an issue. From the time I spent with him, he clearly has vast knowledge of mold infestations and what may/may not be mold, and how to handle it in the most cost effective way. I will go to Richard, and only Richard, for all future needs in this area.

He was very knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. He came out to inspect and performed the service within the week. He also installed a dehumidifier at cost (giving me the retail receipt). I learned a lot about MOLD. $1400. I was so impressed, I had Richard do the same service + on my new house... including the installation of a new vapor barrier in the crawlspace. He also removed unnecessary insulation in my heat/cooled basement, carted it all off to the dump. He is awesome. Knowing I planned to paint my basement, he blew the area several times to reduce the dust and dirt. He grabbed an extra extension cord while buying the dehumidifier to replace an existing cord he felt was unsafe. $2500. He's a good guy... use him. You won't be sorry.

Richard goes above and beyond to make sure you're happy and at a price you cannot beat. He's also honest, even if it means leaving potential revenue on the table (i.e. - Richard told us we did not need new installation in the crawl space to replace the old when he could have done the work himself and charged us for it). He even took my power washer and power washed the entryway of the crawl space for no reason other than he wanted it to look nice when the job was complete. Last time I had this type of work quoted, Richard beat his closest competition's price by almost 30%. I didn't even bother quoting the work this time around given my confidence in Richard. He's a one man show, so you may have to be patient on the scheduling side but he is reliable, honest and knowledgeable.

I wish more businesses were like Ethical Aspects. I really don't know the first thing about our issue. Richard investigated and took the time to explain to me the situation. He was early. For my convenience, we conducted the estimate appointment via Angie's List email, I don't have the ability to talk at work. Basically, our issue does not require professional treatment. I told Richard that he was the first to tell me, and he cited the EPA website. If we have further issues, he will be the first that I contact. Thank you Richard, and Ethical Aspects.

Richard came out to the house and inspected the basement, and a closet where some water had once leaked in. He pointed out and identified a very slight growth in the basement, and recommended using a dehumidifier to bring down the humidity level in the room. He said it is likely no further abatement measures would be necessary.

They educated me about the process and provided several options. They performed the mold removal work and I was very comfortable with their approach and they mitigated the issues.

It solved the problem. I just let him take care of it and he told me it's done and I accept his word. He did a treatment of the crawlspace and I never go down to see or anything so I only take his word. The only way to judge is if  that mold comes back or not.  <br /> <br /> I have no reference for mold removal pricing. He is good. He say he'll be there, he was there.

Very well. I left the owner a vm on a Saturday, he came out on a Sunday to give me a quote. I was impressed with his honesty and candor. He didn't scare or try to overcharge me. I felt that he lived up to the name of his company.

I called around to several other companies to get quotes before deciding to move forward with Ethical Aspects. Richard was by far the most professional and fairly priced among all of the people that I called. He didn't try to use any "scare tactics", just gave me an honest evaluation of what I truly needed. He was timely and responsive. His team did a fantastic job at cleaning the mold in my crawl space, installing the dehumidifier, and laying down a vapor barrier throughout.
