Basement - Remodel
They said the project would take 6-8 wks. Started first week of Nov,09. left on April 2,"10 and haven't returned. Ron, the Owner does not answer calls or return messages. The work was about 80 % complete, and the work was acceptable, but they went somewhere else to work and keep putting me off. I had to move on and complete the project through other contractors. Very unprofessional behavior by the company owner. The workers were fine people who did good work.

i had my bathroom fully remodeled by alpine construction and am very happy with the results. not only is their craftmanship superb but they were consistently on time. the three men i worked with were kind and curtious and listen to what i wanted out of this experience and made it happen. my bathroom is beautiful and looks just like i pictured it. my husband and i are looking forward to future remodeling projects with alpine construction

They were a great group of people that were very helpful in every aspect of the job. They are very knowledgable in their line of work and gave us a wonderful bathroom that we know was done correctly. They were also very clean about their work and showed up on time.

Major Renovation - Multiple Rooms
We had a great experience with Alpine Contracting. Once the work was started, they were here everyday and we were notified if they weren't going to make it due to supplies being unavailable or the weather. If a problem came up it was corrected quickly and to our liking. I would recomment Alpine Contracting to anyone in need of a general contractor. We were very pleased with the amount of time it took to complete everything and how flexible the workers were with us as homeowners. Ron is absolutely great to work with and exceeded our expectations.

"I feel this score should have been much higher. This was a major garage build and exterior house remodel with extra work added during the job. Spring rain delayed the start of most construction this year. Our priority is quality not quickness. We never left the job start except for special order porch posts at the very end). We gave lots of freebees and upgrades and saved the H/O $$. We continue to be on excellent term with this customer. Project photos are available."

Ron is a great contractor. He and his guys did a great job. Very clean and professional. The price was very reasonable. The job was done quickly and on budget. He even did a small outbuilding roof at no additional cost. He checked on the job every day to make sure everything was being done. I would recommend Alpine Contracting for any thing, any time and any where.

We are very happy with the way our deck project turned out. It took slightly longer to complete than expected because some of the materials we wanted for our deck had to be special ordered. The men working on the job were extremely courteous and took time to explain the project as it progressed. They did not take any shortcuts and made sure the job was done right. After the job was completed, they made sure everything was cleaned up nicely and all debris removed from the worksite. Ron, the owner has some great ideas for the deck project and thoroughly explained all our options and his price was very reasonable.

Bathroom - Remodel
The quality of work was satisfactory, however there were a number of times that I called the contractor and he didn't respond as soon as I expected. To give you an example there were times that I had to make calls for almost a week before a response was made. His secretary saved his but, however she could not even get him to respond. There is still a little air bubble in the floor of the bathroom. Overall my parents are satisfied ,but I am sort of disappointed in the response time from the contractor. I am not sure that I would recommend Alpine Contracting just for the inability to get back to me and answer questions in a timely manner.

"We work in an area w/o good cell service. Very mountainous with valleys. Service is very spotty (thank you Verizon). Explained this to Mr. Friday. A small wrinkle developed in the vinyl flooring due to expansion and this was easily resolved. Project was for parents, was on budget & done as quick as possible (was their only bathroom). Called as soon as I knew I was wanted. I will try harder"

THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE WAS THAT IT TOOK LONGER THAN THE 3 WEEKS PROMISED. I KNOW THEY RAN INTO SOME PROBLEMS BUT THE TIME LINE WAS WAY OFF. BUT THEIR MEN AND WORKMANSHIP WERE #1. THEY WERE PROFESSIONALS!!!

I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR PROFESSIONALISM. EACH WORKER KNEW JUST WHAT TO DO AND THE KNOWLEDGE TO GET IT DONE. WHEN NEEDED THEY WOULD SUGGEST IDEAS THAT WERE VERY BENEFICIAL. I ALSO FELT VERY COMFORTABLE WITH THEM BEING IN MY HOUSE DAY AFTER DAY.

I was referred to Alpine Contracting. I was looking for someone to do some carpet seaming for carpet that I installed for an older home I was remodeling. Even though I did not buy the carpet from Alpine, the owner was very quick to arrange for the work I needed to be done by the installer he uses. I would definitely recommend Alpine and choose them myself for any future remodeling work simply because they were so willing to offer assistance to me, even though there was no profit in it for them. I appreciated their assistance very much.

The deck that was built was done very well and the guys that worked on it were professionals. The problem is with the owner and keeping committments - Phone calls not returned, missed many start dates w/o communication and numerious excuses for all of it. Bottom line is the work is done very well but don't expect dates/committments to be met.

"This was an unfortunate situation but, I could not leave a kitchen remodeling project unfinished just to start another job. We were running a bit late due to unexpected customer initiated changes/additions to the project. I felt my communication with the homeowner more than adequate. They were unhappy only with the delay in starting but the project came out beautiful and was done in a week."
