"Thank you for your feedback?however, this review relates to a job completed well over a year ago and does not accurately reflect the full context of the work performed. The customer requested work that went directly against our professional recommendation, specifically insisting on the installation of white PVC stripes into an existing driveway. Prior to beginning any work, our team conducted a detailed assessment of the driveway and found it to be aged (over 25 years old), significantly uneven, and improperly spaced; therefore, well beyond the condition typically recommended for this type of installation work. In addition to this, our team also explained that white PVC strips are designed to be installed during the original concrete pour, while the concrete is still wet and able to properly bond with the material. Given these reasons and more, undergoing the customers request of installing white PVC strips into the existing driveway carried a substantial risk of failure. As such, our professional recommendation to the customer was to fully replace the driveway so the installation could be completed correctly and achieve the result the customer was seeking. The customer ?declined? our professional recommendation and instead insisted that our team proceed with the installation into the existing driveway. To ensure full transparency, our company had the customer review and sign an agreement acknowledging that their driveway was not an ideal candidate for this type of work and that results from this type of requests could not be guaranteed. Only after this signed acknowledgment did we proceed with the requested scope, which the customer fully understood and acknowledged at the time. As anticipated, after our work concluded, portions of the striping later began to lift. Although this outcome was clearly communicated as a possibility in advance, our team returned at no additional charge to perform corrective work to the customers driveway in good faith. At the time of our return, the installation was secure and in good condition. The white PVC stripes were not ?whitening away after one week,? as stated in the above review. So, in the end, our company completed the requested work, clearly documented the limitations, and even provided additional service beyond the agreed-upon scope. At this point, the only lasting solution we can offer is the same recommendation we?ve communicated throughout the project: the driveway requires a full replacement. FINAL NOTE: Our company also feels it is vital to note that following the completion of the driveway work over one year ago, the customer actually requested our team return to the property approximately eight months ago to perform another separate service. On that visit, our team was contracted to complete approximately five hours of camera-related work, which was fully performed and completed the same day. At the time, the customer indicated payment would follow shortly thereafter. As a courtesy, and due to our prior working relationship, we provided additional time for payment to be made. However, despite repeated opportunity and reasonable allowance, the outstanding balance for these services remains unpaid. As a result, this matter is currently being pursued through appropriate legal channels."
"Thank you for your feedback. We're glad to hear the customer was satisfied with the quality of work completed. Regarding the pricing, the customer agreed to our pricing before the work began. Then during the course of the job, the customer requested several additional projects be completed that were outside of the original agreed-upon scope. We were of course happy to accommodate the requests and complete the added work. However, as is standard in our industry, additional work requires additional time, labor, and materials to complete, and therefore cannot be performed at no cost. That said, we made a conscious effort to be as fair as possible with the pricing, and of the four additional tasks added on, the customer was only charged for two. We are proud of the work performed and stand by our values and commitment to fairness for all of our customers. Thank you."
