I had an old refrigerator, microwave and some other things to be removed from my backyard. Robert was the original guy I I contacted. We talked pricing and then arranged a Time for pickup. Vinny was the worker that came out on time I may add he introduced himself and got straight to work it took him about not even 15 minutes to get all the stuff on the trailer. We talked for a bit and he informed me that they were a construction company that also did repairs and to keep them in mind if I ever needed anything which I will I've added them to my contact list. I think Robert and Vinny are phenomenal guys. They were both professional and friendly at the same time. I gave them five stars but that really not enough to describe how they made me feel like a special and valued customer. Robert was always on time for our meetings. He did a great job of showing us different options on the floor. He finished the job on time and went above and beyond working with the area rug cleaning company for their re installation. I would highly recommend Alterio construction.

DO NOT WORK WITH ROBERT. Dealing with him made this feel like the most complicated project ever. In fact, three steps and a small paver patio took six months to finish. He got the estimates wrong multiple times (I even had to draw the plans because he was so off with his measurements), he upped the total price multiple times, and he was extremely unclear throughout the whole process so the finished product that he was responsible for was disappointing and not what we wanted. Even the guys who came to finish the job said Who did the stairs? because it was clearly shoddy work. And I think the worst part was trying to get in touch with him. It would take A LOT of calls and texts to actually get him to call me back and then he would not show up half the time. He would also send people to the house without letting us know! Hands down the most difficult person I ve ever worked with. Mind you, this was a small project-I can t even imagine if the project was bigger than that! If you hire this guy, don t say I didn t warn you.

Most anyone who has ever used a contractor has a tale of woe or wild story to share. Here⠠s my unusual experience: My wife and I hired Alterio Construction to strip/refinish three levels of hardwood floors and stairs while replacing all the ballusters and posts. Robert (and his team) showed up on time for the first meeting and every time thereafter⠦⠦.and the job was completed on schedule⠦⠦and the price was competitive⠦⠦and the workers were professional and pleasant⠦⠦and the job was beautifully done, exceeding our expectations⠦⠦.and Robert actually came back to execute some (minor) touch-ups on his own volition. Now, in our experience, taken all together, this is highly unusual. We highly recommend Robert and Alterio.

They did an AWESOME job. Rob was responsive and has a great crew.
