We just had Mike redo our "orange" wood floors and brought them back to their natural color. What an amazing transformation all because of Mike's attention to detail. The job is beautiful and we could not have asked for more. We will hire him again for any future projects we should have. Also we loved how clean the process was-not much for dust at all!

Mike may not be the cheapest bid you can get, we got lower. But he will be the most experienced. His knowledge of repair - we replaced some water damaged wood, and he took care to get matching replacement which cheaper providers said they couldn't necessarily match. His process - cheaper providers only pointed out wide spaces that needed filling, Mike skim-coated the whole floor and sanded down through that. Resulting in a gorgeous perfectly flat nearly seamless floor. His knowledge of current finishes - what people are looking for today. That and that he is a pleasure to work with, makes his value for the price much higher. We couldn't be more pleased.

Michael was great to work with. He repaired our red oak floor after water damage from a leaking dishwasher. It was a huge job to replace 80 sf of floor and then refinish 1400+ sf to match. He accommodated our schedule over two critical holidays and when we had to travel out of town for a funeral. He thoroughly explained the process and timelines so we knew what to expect. Our daily living was impacted to a minimum due to the quality products he uses for staining and finishing. We are thrilled with the outcome and would highly recommend him for expert wood floor installation and refinishing. He is willing to go the extra mile to assure you are happy and get any custom stain you desire. He is very personable and you can tell he loves his work.

Michael has been refinishing wood floors since 1973, and is a true expert. He is honest, professional, and a cheerful person who does a great job. He was very flexible on scheduling the work and did his best to make us pleased with the look of our wooden floors. He matched the stain and finish perfectly. We are very happy with the job he did!

Michael is amazing, a pro and passionate about wood work. I was about to replace the old oak floor in my kitchen, he saved me a ton of money in refinishing them instead and added oak throughout my house. A+

Michael did a great job on our floors. He was reliable, detail oriented, and enjoyable to talk to. We were looking for a non-poly finish, and one of his specialties is Magic Oil. The finish looks beautiful with no VOCs. We would definitely recommend.

We had sticky residue after removing carpet. Michael came out, and to save us some money, explained precisely the steps to doing it ourselves! We chose to hire him as planned and have no regrets. The end product was exactly what we wanted: original color with matte finish. Gorgeous.

Beautiful finish and very near perfect match to our dining room floor that was not a good match by the installer (not Altringer). Done while we were gone over Thanksgiving, worked out great!

Our floor had a terrible slope to it. Mike corrected the problem before he laid the new hardwood flooring. His work was as close to perfect as anyone could get. We are very happy with his craftsmanship and his knowledge and the final results.

I am pleased overall with the job performed. Michael did a nice job repairing a couple trouble spots, then refinishing the entire floor. There was a small misunderstanding regarding one aspect of the job, however it did not significantly affect the outcome of the project.

Mike was very professional and his crew was great! They did an excellent job of covering all areas that could be exposed to the dust and did some cleaning when the job was completed. Overall they do fantastic work, met timelines and cost was comparable to other compoanies.
