Always Clear Pools and Spas

Our builder hired Lann Clemons to finish installing our pool equipment after the first company went out of business. Lann is a nice person and was quite amiable in the beginning. However, things went downhill shortly after he had been hired. Lann came to install the pool equipment 4 days after the pool plaster was completed, near the beginning of November 2021. Because he was not able to complete the job on that date, he informed our builder that he would need to return to finish it. He came back one time in December 2021 but still could not finish the job he had already been paid to complete. Finally, after numerous excuses and months later, Lann did show up one final time. However, it is now July 2022, and our pool still is not finished nor does it operate correctly. Unfortunately, our builder paid him in full in November 2021, so there is not any motivation for Lann to finish the job. Our builder requires the usage of a specific construction communication software for all communication between us, him, and all hired contractors. Lann has been unresponsive to our builder and his project manager and has only shown up on short notice when there would not be anyone around to check the progress. It is now been 8 months since he started but refuses to finish the job, and our builder has had to hire a different company to finish the project. I definitely would not recommend Lann or his company to anyone else.

I hired this company to replaster my unite pool in 2018. The owner subcontracted to have the plastering work done, but he did a great job supervising the project and communicating with me and the gentleman who died the plastering was amazing. The owner told me that the reason he provided the replastering service was in the hopes that customers would hire him to do other pool work. Keeping that in mind, I additionally had owner replace pump motor and close my pool in 2018. My attempt to hire him to open my pool in 2019 met with no response initially. After my second attempt to contact him, I received a terse text message, Not doing openings for customers that arent weeky cleaning clients. Sorry. After what was a very positive experience in 2018, I am frustrated by the change. The requirement of being a weekly cleaning customer was never communicated or offered to me last year or this year.

I needed the steps into the pool repaired and my pool repainted. Lann was very professional, friendly and prompt. Due to weather issues, the pool was painted a little later then initially planned.
