Hired to check why my TV reception was bad. I live 7 miles from towers. Did not bring any tools. No ladder so couldn't check antenna. Changed a splitter and 3 connections. Gave me a list of other possible reasons charged me $75 and left. Actually, it's worse now. I called them and their answer was it was fine when he left so it will be another $75 for him to come back. Don't think so.
Response by Amazing E: Our tech did get your approval that the job was finished and that you were satisfied with the work. Also, you were not charged for the parts used. He even charged you less than our posted cost because you said you were quoted $60 per hour which we have not been at for 6 years. We do charge a revisit fee once initial work is approved unless it is a warranty issue which this was not. After doing the repairs you and your friend saw that there were actually additional channels. The ONLY tool I did not have with me was a ladder that was high enough because of the height of the roof which I would have gone and gotten. You forgot to mention that YOU said not to worry about the antenna being that you were getting perfect reception BECAUSE of the repairs we performed. That was because you did not want to pay for anymore time. It is really sad that you would said what you did. Us techs depend upon our reputations for work. Fortunately out of the thousands of customers we have, most of them have integrity and are honest.
