We ended up doing a repair that occurred over several months. The humidfier attached to our central gas furnace developed a loud humming sound, and we had already tried placing a water hammer in the supply line and insulating it, with only temporary success. Rohit deduced that the solenoid in the humidifier had gone bad. To save some $ I ordered the parts and he installed it for a modest fee. It took some time to get the part, and it was somewhat difficult to get him back to the house to install it, but he did do it and kept his word on costs. By the time it was installed, it was now spring and the humidifier was shut off until this week. So far, the noise is diminished, so it seems he was right about the repairs needed. I would hire him again if needed!

I described my repair need (A/C compressor would not start) on Home Advisor around 6:45 pm and received a call from the owner (Rahit) about an hour later. Less than an hour after that, he was at my door, with the needed parts (two capacitors). Finished before 9 pm. Total cost for instant service: $225. Wow. While Rahit was working I asked a bunch of curiosity questions on how the system and components worked, which he very patiently answered. Rahit is a mechanical engineer, not just a technician, and we had a terrific discussion about my 20+ year old system. His card is now taped to my furnace to be my first call for future work.

Rohit provided an excellent service with the best quality HVAC unit and the best price of this area. He replied very quick when I first contacted him and he came to our house, checked the unit and explained the options we had. We are very pleased with his job

It pays to shop around for R-22. Some charge double what others charge per pound. Ambience did not gouge me for the R-22, which I appreciate.

I wired my new thermostat incorrectly, which was a really dumb user error. So my problem is probably much easier than yours. Still though, Ambience was patient and never condescending about the issue. The guy identified my issue, explained it to me, and got to work. Stayed long enough for me to test out the results and went on his way.
