1998, American Building Contractors was founded in Burnsville, MN with three basic beliefs: always be punctual, always treat our customers the way we would want to be treated and always listen to our customers' wants, needs and concerns. As a result, American Building Contractors has grown to be one of the largest and most highly respected general contractors in the nation. In 2004, we opened our Florida office to help hurricane victims through the stress of filing property insurance claims and most importantly, restoring their homes in a timely manner. In addition to insurance restoration, we offer complete exterior remodeling services where we remain focused on the trades which have made us successful: roofing, siding, windows and gutters.

We dealt with Josh Kestner at ABC Roofing for a replacement tile roof. We were very satisfied with their services. We found Josh and other staff to be professional, courteous, friendly and most helpful. Everything was completed in a timely matter and we would highly recommend ABC Roofing.

ABC is great at negotiating with the insurance company. They took care of this hassle for us-a great load off our shoulders. ABC falls short in their communication and quality. Months would go by with no communication and then-surprise! workers are tearing off the roof today and I can't get in my driveway. Also, the quality of the work was not as good as the original tile roof. The cement on the ridge lines was sloppily applied and not properly wiped clean. It just looks a bit untidy compared to the original roof.

Hurricane Irma damage. Love the look and quality of new roof. A twelve month frustrating process. Lack of communication. Hard workers installing roof. Kudos to Billy Landon for resolving several issues!

We were not quoted a true contract agreement until we went to pay the last payment. They increased it by $3100 without our knowledge until we went to refinance and find a lien. Communication has a lot to be desired from the main office in MN to the Naples, FL office, too many clerical errors. We have talked with over 6 people who give different attitudes toward this situation. Also, they need to come back to re-repair our roof as their are several errors.

The crew that did the work did a great job. The management did not communicate well with us. Did not return phone calls in a timely matter. Did not provided us a complete agreement until the end of the project when questions arouse. Ended up having to message the owner on Facebook to get problems answered The service consultant did not inform the office that we requested plywood instead of OSB .

Very quick, efficient work! Jericho was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. He identified and fixed some additional repair spots that we hadn't noticed previously, and also suggested ways of preventing the problem (woodpecker damage) going forward.

The service technician arrived a few minutes early, checked out roof and took pictures of the damage. He repaired the damage in a timely manner, showed picture of finished repair. He was friendly and explained things well, all in all a 5 star experience. I would highly recommend this company.

The service technician was running a little late & he called head to let me know. Actually, he ended up being only 10 minutes late. A piece of siding had flown off from the wind. It only took him a few minutes to put it back up and then we also went around the house and roof to nail down anything else that was loose. I am very pleased and would recommend this company.
