American Cabinet Refinishing

We needed the front of our wood cabinets in our kitchen refinished. Tony and his team did a marvelous job and matched the original color beautifully. He took a personal interest in our project. We could not be more pleased, and price was amazingly cost effective. Tony is in such high demand due to his reputation, be patient with him. He has had difficulties with retaining good help, as most people have during the pandemic. But he never disappoints, and the finished job is like brand new. Keith

We had new doors and drawer fronts, with new hardware, put on our existing cabinets. Tony is an expert craftsman and perfectionist and did a superb job at a reasonable price. Only minor complaint is that he gets himself overbooked (cannot say no to a job) and was short-handed when he did our job, so it was done about a week late. But be patient, and American Cabinets will deliver excellent work at a good price. Recommended.

The contractor was paid in full then did not complete the job, He did not return phone calls, texts, or emails. When I was able to phone him, he offered excuses and promised to complete the job, but he never contacted me. I had to repair 4 cabinet doors that would not close properly or not close at all. I had to pay another contractor to install a cabinet that ACR had been paid to install. I had to purchase hinges and door closures because the ones ACR ordered were incorrect. There are unsightly lacquer drips on one part of the refinished cabinet. I have not heard from the contractor since late April.

Called about a minor detail not completed. Never called back.

Despite contract, owner asked for payment before work was completed (citing payday - trying to make me feel guilty). I don t appreciate those tactics and reminded him that we had a contract which stated payment would be made when job was completed. He backed off. The quality of work is excellent. The owner is lucky to have an installer who is so skilled & such a perfectionist at his work. Every day when he left, he left kitchen area neat & tidy.

Amiable workers. Also he matched old kitchen cabinets that were over 50 years.

Our cabinets were refinished while we were on vacation and they look great! No problems with them coming and going from our house, everything was cleaned up and they even fed our pets for us while we were away :)

I would recommend them highly. They worked extra long hours in order to finish the job ontime because of a snowstorm. The work is top notch in every detail.

Tony did great. The cabinets look nice especially considering we gave him a project we had done part of ourselves. He was very friendly and worked with us when there was confusion around the paint color.
