I purchased a new fireplace insert from a third party to replace a leaking unit that was installed. I hired American Chimney to come to install the purchased fireplace insert and the attitude of the installer was bad because I had not purchased the fireplace insert from them. It was going to cost at least $200.00 more for a fireplace insert from them. I was going to sell the house and only needed a working fireplace and not something that expensive. I will be looking for a new vendor for my new home that also has a fireplace insert.

It took a little troubleshooting, but they were able to identify several problems with the gas fireplace and correct them on the spot -- fireplace is working again!! In addition, they are very reasonably priced...

Pre-Fabricated Fireplace Unit (Gas) Repair
My gas fireplace stopped working almost 10 years ago but, we never fixed it because we don't care that much about fireplaces anyway. When we decided to sell our home, we knew we needed to have the fireplace in running order and, even after having been idle that long they were able to fix it quickly and for a very reasonable cost!!
