Asphalt Shingle Roofing Installation and Replacement
Very prompt and reliable. I ordered the roof on a Friday and they installed it the following week on Thursday and Friday. It was the cheapest bid but they did not lack in quality. They cleaned up really well and took extra time to search the ground for any loose nails. Very pleased and would absolutely recommend them to others!

I am very pleased with my two new metal roofs and two flat roofs. Keith Lynn, Pepe and crew did a fantastic job! Keith and Lynn were on top of answering calls or returning them within a reasonable amount of time. Prices were reasonable and Pepe and crew were awesome. Thank you again for the beautiful work! I love it and so do my neighbors!

Keith Powers is the owner of American Commercial and Development Inc. Keith did my roof and, after lots of problems with his contractors, stated that would leave the job site because they claim Keith did not pay them. I called Keith and he sent another crew and the roof finally got done. I had already contracted Keith to put stucco on a two-story building. After months of false promises Keith never showed up for work, I had taken time off for him to start the job and his crew never showed up. Keith and his secretary did not have the common decency to inform me that they would not show up to work. After many stories, I finally ask Keith to refund my $ 5.000. Keith wanted to take 30% of my $5K because he stated I am canceling the contract. I had to explain to Keith that I did not cancel the contract instead he would never start the job. Keith refuses to do the work because his contractor left him. I had to hire an attorney in order to get my full deposit back. After many excuses, he was forced to refund my deposit. Any decent contractor would have given my deposit back. Instead, I felt he tried everything in his power to keep my deposit. What a dishonest man. This is not a contractor to do business with. Do not do business with this company. Keith is like a car salesman. He talks a good deal, but performance is poor.

"First of all the roof was done 3 years ago and the homeowner was very happy with the roof and even sent us messages about how happy he was. The accusation of us not paying our crews is OBSCURED! Mr. ******* then called us to do a roof on a garage that he had built in the back of his home by another contractor who did it wrong, had to have it torn down and rebuilt which took almost 2 years to get done and we still honored the original price for the roof. We did complete the roof on the garage and then he was happy with that and asked us to do another project of stucco on the garage. Which the subcontractor we had hired gave us a quote to do just the second story of the building. After the time was elapsed on doing this, the subcontractor that originally was hired to do it left the jobs we had and left us hanging. Therefore we hired another stucco person and then found it was to be the entire building which of course would be more. When that was conveyed, then Mr. ******* canceled the job. His money was then refunded and the check cashed. Then we found out the subcontractor that we originally had to go out there that has caused many problems on several jobs we had, he then hired him to do the work. That subcontractor has taken monies from customers that we had and we did not know about it. All of our subs are always paid and releases for the work they did sign by them as to being paid. Unfortunately, Mr. ******* has now hired this unlicensed subcontractor that does not pay his workers which were on ongoing issues with him and we had to step in, make sure they got paid, and have them to sign releases as well. This unlicensed subcontractor has been turned in to the Pinellas County Licensing Board, the Department of Business Regulations, and to Sarasota County. We have also directed our file on these issues with that Subcontractor to our attorney. We are sorry that Mr. ******* feels he needs to write these types of reviews as we are only trying to protect him and our other customers that the unlicensed subcontracted acted on fraudulently. We have done nothing wrong on this job and we have been maliciously attacked by this homeowner."

I can't properly express just how happy we are with our new roof. For a couple of years we had been postponing but due to the age & insurance requirements, it was time. A phone call, a visit from Keith Powers & a week later, we had a beautiful new roof. The workmen showed up on time, ripped off the old roof & installed a new one, cleaned up the mess (not one nail was found afterward) all of this took place in 2 days. Unlike most home improvement employees, these men were nice, polite & very approachable. Our neighbor was impressed & hired them to do their roof. They are thrilled also. The roofers found & repaired rotted plywood with bad leaks imminent. Best of all was the price--it was so reasonable. The wind mitigation inspector came a few days afterward & said it was one of the best roofs he had seen. This reduced our homeowner's insurance considerably. If you're considering a new roof, give Keith Powers a call at (877) 236-8027 before you decide on anyone else--what can you lose? And you may save a lot of money as well as aggravation. The easiest home improvement we've had thus far & we've totally remodeled our home.

They were easy to deal with. I couldn't believe how quickly the roof was delivered to the rooftop (no materials in the yard)ripped off one day and replaced the next day with clean up at every stage of work.

Excellent! I needed a roof because my insurance company would not keep our coverage. I live out of state and had a small window to get down to Englewood to get it done. Their project estimate was great. No price gouging do to the 'rush' of the job. Thank you Shawn!

They did a good job on the roof. They did a sweep to pick nails from the ground but missed some. I stepped on one that went through my shoe and another gave me flat tire. Five weeks after the job they finally came out to take care of minor finishing work and found the vent pipe had been installed wrong and was leaking water into the attic. This repairman found a large quantity of loose nails laying on the roof which could have washed down onto the yard and become a hazard. The roofers accidentally tore the screen on my lanai and now I'm told that it will be March 13 before than can get it fixed.

Their customer service and work quality met my expectations. However, they dropped the ball when they left the job with construction debris strewn around our yard. When contacted following our final payment to come back and pick up these materials, they ignored my email request. So we were left to make arrangements to have a pile of debris picked up at our expense.

If you are looking for communication, cleanliness, or follow thru pick someone else. They did not communicate with me at all. In fact if i had not callwd them my car would have bwwn trapped in the garage! Failed to inform me that it was being delivered. Also, failed to keep me up to date on the job-for example I never knew when thw crew was coming or not coming. I work nights and didn't know when they were they coming or even if they were coming. Told me job wpuld be 3-4 days and was more like a week. Left dirt, nails and various garbage in my yard and lanai. Told me they would come back and clean and never saw anyone again. Work is done I have a new roof, but would not use them again. Disappointed to say the least.

Keith did the estimate for our roofing job. The price was fair but we were clear that we were looking for a good job not a cheap job. The product was as promised and the job began on time. For the first two days, there were 4 workers and they put in long days. The next two days, only 2 workers showed up an they worked until 8:30 at night. No one was there to supervise them. They were rushing to complete the job and cut many corners. Two men showed up on Sunday to finish up. They cut flashing around gutter nails instead of removing the nails and doing it right. The soffit was damaged and there were roofing pieces, tar and nails (and beer caps) on the roof and in the gutters. They messed up the gutters leaving holes in the corners and dented the extensions Keith called to ask how we liked the job and we asked him to come over so we could show him all of the mistakes. We paid him all but $400 with the understanding that we would pay him the remainder when the mistakes were corrected. He said someone would be there the following week. That was in June. Keith called once in July to ask if someone had been here. I said no and he said he would get right back to me. He never called again. It is now September and we have had the flashing fixed and corrected most of the problems. Keith said he would provide everything needed for the wind mitigation but it took another 6 weeks for that. I think that he over books his workers and the quality of the work suffers. Looking back, I believe we made a mistake by using this company. We may have done better with a smaller company and more personalized attention.

They were in time once they got the permits ready, but took almost a week for that to happened and they don't let you know in advance! One think I can't blame them but wish somebody let me know in advance was that the color we choose for the room was intended to coordinate with color of house, well once installed you can't see any color on the roof! Granted the quality is great and so the job great done but the company should know that the materials they use as great as they are don't show the color people choose!!!!

They were prompt, courteous and the workers are excellent. They clean up the nail debris every day and sometimes several times a day. They made sure the driveway was clear if I left and came back. They repaired the bad areas and did an excellent job replacing the entire roof. Keith was a pleasure to work with. This company has the knowledge and skills to do the job right. Estimate was fair and the additional plywood was definitely justified. They are trustworthy.

We had several other estimates done, but selected Keith of American Cpmmercial Construction to replace our roof because he did a thorough inspection. explained everything in detail, gave us a list of what would be done, and the price he quoted seemed fair. The work was done efficiently and on time. The crew would clean up each day. Keith was friendly & professional. He clearly explained everything that would be done to replace my roof. And, although he offered a more extensive plan for my consideration that would have put my home in really tiptop condition, I had to choose a lesser repair/replace option. I appreciated that there was no pressure to do otherwise. The work crew was not only efficient, but their daily cleanup left the area looking better than it had before they started! The men were pleasant & friendly, too. I highly recommend American Commercial Construction & Development.

The job was completed quickly and even with extra cost due to unexpected water damage it was well below the other estimates I received. I would absolutely recommend American Commercial Construction to anyone.

My contractor, Keith Powers, at American Commercial Construction was thorough and timely. He communicated with our insurance company adjusters with great detail and organization. I have heard many horror stories about roofers who did shoddy work, cut corners and did not perform the work to state codes and regulations. The roofing team that did my roof arrived early and stayed late each day to get the job done. They used all of the correct materials, went over-and-above what was required by code and made sure every detail was to my complete approval and satisfaction before asking me to sign-off on the roof's completion. Highly Recomended!
