Concrete Flatwork Repair & Resurface
Tony came out with his crew to hammer out my garage floor and relay it, plus add an additional strip to the driveway. I was very satisfied with the work. I took half a point off because there were a few delays due to weather and the communication on when they would arrive to perform the work was not the best. We got it sorted out though and they got it all done just fine.

The guys at American Concrete did a great job. They stayed within their estimate. Crew was always there on time and professional even working on the weekend to make up for time lost when the weather was bed and they couldn't pour. I couldn't have asked for more. I will highly recommend them and call American first for any future concrete work because I know they get the job done.

Excellent work. Did estimate same day I called that was lower then everyone else and that's what I paid. No funny business. The crew was professional and courteous..showed up and got the job done right. It was nice that this job was headache free. I've already recommended them to my mother in law!

After a referral from my in-laws, Tony bid my driveway. Courteous install, but like another reviewer he insisted I pay an extra $500 because he underbid - I made the mistake of saying yes. 2 and 1/2 years later, half of my driveway is crumbling. American says salt, but my in-laws driveway is fine (same install month) and first first half of the pour (truck one) is fine. Owner Larry James is not standing behind his work - "the only thing concrete is guaranteed to do is crack". I've asked him to repair and a week later he still has not called back. They do not stand behind their work.

"We have actually delt extensively with this customer regarding this matter and regret that we could not come to better terms however originally he was very satisfied with his driveway and stated that here on home advisor. Over two years later he came to us with complaints about cracking in his driveway which we responded can happen if salt, acid, deicer, and other such chemicals are used on it by customers and the city during winter months. No matter how good of a job we do the customer themselves also has to participate in protecting it. There is no way we could provide unlimited warranty as much as we would like to."

Do not hire this company, Tony Robinson will promise you the world and deliver nothing. These guys are clueless, like they have never done concrete work before. Spend the extra cash and hire a competent contractor, American Concrete Pumping aka A&A Concrete is not a very good contractor. Warranty only good for as long as you can see Tony's license plate when he takes your check. This was my first experience dealing with a concrete contractor and it was not a good one. Home owner BEWARE do not hire these guys, you will regret it.

"We did this customer over a year ago and he was happy with the job we did. He paid us and recommended us to his friends and Neighbors he then called us back and wanted us to deliver topsoil and because we were not a dirt delivery company he got on Home Advisor and gave us a poor rating because we couldn't deliver dirt. We are not a dirt company."

Their bid was definitely lower than the competition. They came out, started the job on time, and finished it quickly. The driveway looks as good as I could have hoped. The only BS move that they pulled was trying to get more money after they finished. "well it was a more difficult drieway than we thought, so we're going to have to charge an extra $300." This left a bad taste in my mouth. However, like i said, overall, a job well done and i would recommend...just one shady tactic at the very end.

I hired American Concrete Co. to pour my driveway and patio. They did a magnificent job. I am very pleased with the workmanship. I got a very quick response. The workers were very friendly and courteous. The price was reasonable and the quailty was great and I highly recommand them.

They called back very quickly and made a bid the same day. Arrived on time and got the job done in 4-5 hrs. Had to wait for the rock, so a little down time, then one went for more rock and used 4 shovel fulls and told me the rest was for another job. The boss showed up with the cement truck said the rock was not for another job and would have to charge me for it. If I am paying for it then drop the rest of it into the driveway. Cost an extra $150. Three out of the four were extremely hard workers, the other one not so much. I had a good time day and the new sidewalk makes me happy!!!

i hired American concrete to do a residential driveway, very fair price, and the job they did was very good. the reason i say i wouldn't recommmend this company is because of the person leading the crew. if they tell you Bill will be leading your crew RUN! this man left my job went to my neighbors house to spread gravel, pull a truck out that was stuck and bid another job all while on my job my money oh because he claims he knew the man that delivered their gravel he had extremly poor customer service skills he was extemely rude. Then i called the main office to complain and have yet to get a return call.. consider this before hiring!

They are technically very proficient. The work they did looks great. Ivan (the foreman) and his crew were punctual and very skilled at their craft. The management and sales staff are not up to the same quality as the concrete crew. I made a very fundamental mistake, I did not get their bid in writing. I had another company come out at they quoted the price Tony had started at but through negotiations had came down from. Mr James (the owner?) was no better offering to finish the job plus a little extra for a bit more inflated price. His offer turned out to be false also. These guys lied to get the business. GET IT IN WRITING

Poured my patio as I requested and did a very good job. However, make sure you get at least three bids before doing the job. They're first bid was incredibly high and I called them on it. They came down and won the business because they could pour the next day. They also promised to cover patio with tarp but covered with hay instead. I wasn't around to yell at them so make sure they finish like they promise or get it in writing. But the patio was poured properly with appropriate reinforcing and slope.
