Bathroom Remodel
The contractor completely abandoned the job. He ordered 100,000 of material that we paid for and called the vendors for a refund directly into his account. He is refusing to return our money or materials. Not only that he has a total of 155,000 dollars of our money and the only thing we have to show for it, is a demolished home and an unsafe living environment. We currently have 1 bathroom that s usable with 7 people living in our home, 4 of them being children. He left open walls, nails, wires, and an almost unlivable home for us to fix. Again we are out 155,000 with ZERO to show for it. We are appalled and disgusted by this contractor to say the least. Contractor was referred by your company. We trusted for this project. I pray that no one else has to go through this, per your companies recommendation. Edit- To who it may concern regarding American Contracting Enterprises We were in fact customers. They referred this company and the owner personally reached out. He is right though, there is a police investigation going on only regarding his company and the fraud he is under investigation for. Like Keith said .it will all come out in good time. Our only advice is to please do your research. Thank you, for permanently removing this company under your personal companies recommendations and investigations. We can only hope he does not do this to someone else.

This customer is not a Angi customer of ours either. They only called them because they wanted the best contractor in Arizona. That work from the Angi request was withdrawn from because of the hostile and chaotic environment."

This project involved Timberlake Cabinets. Since Timberlake doesn't deal directly with homeowners, A.C.E was able to place an order for me. I will use A.C.E in the future for all my problem projects.

I had planned to have Keith build me a 1,000 square foot (92.9 m²) back house on my property, and we had agreed to try to keep the cost to a minimum, hiring a blueprint person with all the details I paid Keith $4,750.00, and he paid $1600,00 to the blueprint person, and we were to get started. This was 4/25/2019. Many months went by and nothing got started on my property, Keith sent out bids to get me a price and my estimate came in at a much higher bid than we talked about, he said if I went with his contract he would award $2,200.00 credited towards the total project. As time went on I decided that Keith did not have the knowledge to start from ground up on a back house, I then decided to change contractors and Keith decided to keep all my money. I ask for part of the money back for his time, I was willing to pay him a $1000 and the rest would go to me. Keith refused and I received nothing back from him. I feel this was in poor judgment on his part and I would not recommend him for building a new home or any of his work. He may have some good reviews, but I think his honesty with money is something I will not forget. I should have received the difference of $2,150.00 Karma will return to you Keith. I did not have a signed contract with Keith because he was giving me an estimate and only a verbal statement, that I thought, his word would be good until we decided on a final price. That never happened, and he never returned my remainder of $2,150.00.

"This happened well over 1 year ago from the date this review was posted, this was not even a home advisor lead. Her and her daughter filed a civil lawsuit and it was denied. There was a contract and it clearly stated the start up costs was not refundable for architectural plans and 8 hrs of design time. She was given a transparent estimate and this review only came about because she demanded a refund of her startup costs and threatened a bad review if I did not give her back the startup fee. This is a clear example of contractor abuse."

It is with great sadness that I find it necessary to write this review. I hired A.C.E. to do a complete bathroom tear out and remodel. I wanted to get rid of bathtub/shower and install a large shower only and higher counter top. I hired them because they said could start immediately which they did. Job started Feb 1st completed end of March as Corie and Ryan were only here two to four hours per day and some days not at all because of other jobs. Job completed, and we were finally able to use bathroom and shower starting in April. My wife and I are snowbirds spend five months here and seven months in Oregon. I mention this because shower was used April and not again until December, January and February. Middle of Feb. I noticed that shower fiberglass floor was flexing. Not good! I called Keith. No response. After four calls with no response, I told him if I did not hear from him by the first of this week I would be posting problem. As for Corie and Ryan, I have only good things to say as they were very careful and very detailed. So my next move will be contacting a lawyer if Keith is not willing to honor the warranty provided in his contract, which states all parts and labor are covered. I also had to furnish a quart of paint to paint wall alterations performed to accommodate the new shower as Keith said painting was not part of the bid. Can you imagine knowing wall alteration was necessary on an $11,000 job and not planning on painting? A $15.00 quart of paint? It was not a complete paint of entire bathroom, only match existing, in fact half of can was left over.

"Jack is upset because I would not drill Into his new shower pan to spray foam inside it because he had another contractor do it 18 years ago. Jack was given the manufacturers manual that stated it was normal to flex since it was fiberglass before we installed it. He even purchased it knowingly it stated that . Jacks concern 8 months after we completed the bathroom remodel, was that the flexing would break the shower pan 20 years down the road. He then attempted to sue us and his complaint was dismissed because of the fact his job was installed 100% above industry standards. The inspector did a through investigation and found absolutely nothin"

We hired Keith to complete a master bathroom remodel (we ended up having him replace an exterior door and our master bedroom flooring as well). Keith and his crew were wonderful to work with. Keith is professional, ethical, timely, and communicated well with us throughout the project. He was always available to answer his phone with any questions we had. We couldn't be happier with the end result of the project; the attention to detail that Keith has is great, as were his recommendations for the room, he even did the little things that I never would have thought about that really help to complete the room. He has definitely earned our business for future projects, we look forward to working with him and his crew again!

I hired Keith for a kitchen cabinet remodel I was doing. He layed out the design, had computerized drawings made up, we went over the drawings which in addition had 3D renderings and Birds eye view which made the review process so much easier. After I reviewed and accepted, he had everything custom fabricated, and installed everything. I've gotten nothing but compliments from anyone when they see how Beautiful my kitchen is. Also I have to note, these are Furniture Grade Cabinets and the finish was outstanding. Everything came out perfect. When I purchased a condo years later, I gutted the kitchen, and once again called Keith in to do what he does. This kitchen was just as high of quality as the 1st one he did for me. I would very highly reccomend ACE & Keith for any home remodeling projects. You will be happy you used his services.

Keith and his crew (Ryan and Corey) were a delight to work with. They were professional and conscientious but also really nice guys. They remodeled my Master bath to accommodate my 6'4" disabled husband and they did a fabulous job. It turned out beautiful as well as functional. If there was any kind of issue, Keith dealt with it right away. He is proud of his business and wants everything to be satisfactory. While there, they did a few other projects for me on the side, and did a great job with those projects as well. I highly recommend ACE, you won't be sorry you hired them. personally, I am keeping Keith's company on speed dial.

The work done by American Contracting Enterprise (ACE) was top notch. When Keith, (the owner) came to our house he took the time to explain the work that was needed to complete our project. He was very flexible, listened to our needs versus wants and provided constructive feedback. He was very forth coming with every aspect and was very willing to work within our budget. He did not sugar coat or try to upsell. Compared to the other quotes we received, ACE was not the least expensive, nor was it the highest. Keith's team did an excellent job on our bathroom remodel. They installed electrical outlets, new countertops, sinks and faucets which involved rerouting and installing new plumbing. Our master shower was completely demolished and a new walk-in was installed with a bench and floor to ceiling tile. The end results were awesome! We have owned several homes and have done at least a half dozen major renovations from kitchens, bathrooms and full blow basements. We have learned that nothing goes perfectly as planned. Something will come up that was unforeseen and nobody is perfect, home owners and contractors alike. The true measure is how well a concern or unexpected problem is resolved. Keith and his crew excelled at that! They listened, they were patient, very approachable and quickly responded to our input throughout the project, start to finish. If you are looking to remodel your bathroom or even another part of your home, don't hesitate to hire Keith and his team.
