Write a ReviewAmerican Electrical Innovations is a great company to work with! They are people of high integrity, and they do an excellent job!

It was a pleasure working with you Patrick, please let us know if you need any assistance in the future.
Seconding Bob A from greeley's review above. Chose american electrical innovations because they were local and were in the same price range as the other electrical bids obtained. (Other bids were $4,600, $3,900, and $4,300) Worked with Cam Tietz, the owner. Brand new finish of a basement, starting from scratch, no existing anything. He looked at plans and gave a bid of $4,100, plans did not change. Total cost ended up being just under $10,000. When asking Cam about the price difference, he said and I quote "you didn't have a normal basement and if I wanted to pay my guys $20/hr I would have them picking up dog sh*t". He was very rude after the work was done and the bill was due. No recourse due to no contract for bid. Would not recommend to anyone. All other electricians gave a firm bid with a contract to be signed. Should have went with one of them. Save yourself some money, and go with a hard bid and contract. (Also if cam replies to this like Bob A, I already tried talking with him, so don't believe the BS response)
Diane, We started your basement finish in 7/2017. Your estimate reflected costs/materials at that time and the pricing was only for rough-in as stated in your estimate dated 7/26/2018 (Happy to email this document to anyone who is questioning the integrity of our estimate please email me admin@aeinnovations.co). As stated in our estimate and conversation to you we do not do hard bids. It's been our experience that customers, when finishing a basement, change many things in the process. You were more than welcome to cancel the work at anytime. You had what constitutes a full home electrical install in your basement (just your basement). We do have a General Service Agreement our customers sign and deposits are take on work. We did talk with your husband and the only thing he stressed to us after the fact was that he was unhappy it was too "expensive". I would agree working on homes is expensive, but we are still below national average as a licensed electrical contractor on our pricing and $10.00 less per hour than most of our competition in the area. I am sorry you're unhappy about your final cost, but it does cost money to finish a home and your hubby stated he was pleased with the work that was completed. This feels more like a something for nothing review. You wanted discounted pricing, we simply can not do this. We have employees that have to be paid and costs of running a business to take into account as well.
"They are efficient, friendly and did a great job"
Thank you Michael, It was a pleasure doing business with you. - Cam Tietz
They worked very slowly. My fault, I should have gotten a firm quote for the work.
Hi there Bob, The owner Cam Tietz has tried to reach out to you. As stated we do not offer firm quotes as there is no guarantee of time on moving wires, and reworking previous installs made. Our employees move as quickly and safely as possible, this keeps the electrical wires undamaged, and ensures a safe, functional install. Again, we are more then happy to discuss this matter with you further if you would like to contact us back. Thank you.
Expensive and it takes awhile but worth it they do clean work that looks great
Great job, guys. Thank you!
They did an excellent job and did exactly as I had requested.
appreciated that he talked through the project with me - one of the aspects of the project was not possible (or very expensive), so we came up with another solution.
