Timely project communications. Fast removal of old wood. The carpenter sanded away the dark spots under the removed flower boxes so a darker stain was not necessary. The deck looks modernized and great!

I used Angi to find a company to Power Wash the siding on a house in Burke VA. One of the companies to bid on the work was American Powerclean. They provide a quote that was more competitively priced than the other quotes I received. I called and spoke with the owner, Mr. Grier Melick. He discussed the project with me and offered me a discount to Powerwash all of the siding on the house. I agreed and accepted the quote. The work was done professionally, without me needing to be present. The crew did an Excellent job! They got all of the siding clean and they also power washed the walkways and front stoop too! I am very pleased with the work and the price, and I would recommend there services to others!

I have a 10' x 12' elevated wood deck on the back of my townhouse. It needed washing and staining, and it needed some structural repairs to deal with a railing that was pulling away from the rest of the deck. I had used American Powerclean years ago, and their many positive reviews led me to them again. Philip Guthrie came to the house and recommended some joist-hangers and corner-braces to fix the structural issues. Several days later a two-man team came to the house to power-wash the deck. Then a few days later another two-man team arrived to do the repairs and staining. The price was $725, which seems quite good to me (I didn't get any other estimates). I'd gladly hire American Powerclean again.

Overall, the experience was excellent. The estimate was done in a timely manner. The work started as planned, although there was a change to the duration of the job and number of workers employed. At the completion, the deck looks nice -- better than it ever has. The choice of lighter stain for the deck makes a big difference overall. The power washing of the rear cabinets and subsequent staining has returned them to a much better condition. The front door re-finishing is done. My wife pointed out that the lower portion is still rough. It probably should have been sanded more before the final coat.of spar urethane. All considered, we are pleased with the work and would certainly recommend this firm.

The owner arrived at schedule time to discuss and estimate the job. A crew of 2 arrived about 3 days after I approved the estimate to powerwash the vinyl siding and deck. A few days later, another crew of 2 stained the deck and painting a wrought iron railing. Overall, very professional and efficient and the result was neatly done and thorough.

My 28 year old deck was badly in need of some attention. I thought I might have to dismantle it and think about building a new one. I contacted American PowerClean LLC upon the recommendation of a neighbor and the process was seamless from start to finish! The owner stated I could get a few more years out of my deck and provided an estimate for shoring up the railings as well as pressure washing and painting both the deck and fence. Initially, he stated that we were looking at two weeks out to schedule the project. To my delight, the project ended up being scheduled a day or two after our initial meeting and took approximately two days to complete! The owner, my pressure washing crew and my painting crew did amazing work! They demonstrated a work ethic of 110%, were very attentive to detail and left the work area in better shape than they found it! I experienced exemplary customer service from all of them and the end result was a deck that looks like new!!! I love it and my neighbors have complimented me on how beautiful everything looks! I highly recommended American PowerClean LLC and would hire them again without hesitation!

It went great, Phillip came and did an estimate and discovered that I had two rotted posts. They did the power washing of the house and deck and then the sealing of the deck and repair of the posts and it looks great

The cleaning was fine but they used such a forceful stream of water that some of the screens on my Back porch are coming loose. They also sprayed ceilings and walls and that caused a bit of problems too .

We hired American Power Clean to clean our house siding, shed, concrete walkway, driveway, wood stairs (with railings) and small wood retaining wall. We also contracted for sealing/staining of the last two. We couldn't be happier with the results! Beautiful! Philip is very responsive and friendly. He was flexible with price in return for our flexibility with timing. We did need a return visit because there were a few spots on our 15-yr-old wood steps where wood was nicked from excess pressure. Philip's crew re-washed, sanded, and re-stained the entire 3-step structure - no questions asked. If we were not moving out of the area we would definitely be repeat customers.
