I had a leaking vegetable sprayer hose on my kitchen sink faucet that was leaking into the cabinet beneath when the faucet was on. The plumber (Thomas) came to the house within about an hour and 1/2 and offered to give a free estimate. A break was found on the hose itself, and he suggested we contact Delta Faucets to see if the hose was still under warranty, as it was going to cost $80 to purchase a new hose from Delta and it no longer is carried by Home Depot/Lowes or any other local supplier. IT WAS STILL UNDER WARRANTY (5-10 years old) AND DELTA IS MAILING US A NEW ONE FOR FREE. I will definitely call American Tech Plumbing again.

Redid my showers, replaced some washer, the first shower was ok, the second shower was supposidley a build up of calcium and would have to be cut into, didn't want to do that. Fixed my toilet but the fix didn't stick, I ended up calling someone else to fix the issues.

"Customer called and we were set up to fix the problem at no charge, even though he was never charged for that repair, but when we were there, he would not let us fix it. The plumber was not informed what he wanted on the toilet. I do not know of any other problems, customer never informed me. We will always make right any problems that arise."

Gas Piping
Hired to run gas line for new dual fuel range. Scott and Thomas were very informative and coordinated their efforts with MLGW and the inspector. They always answered their phone and/or returned calls promptly (even after hours). Project took a little longer than initially thought, but delays were unavoidable. Was very pleased with service provided.

I am very satisfied with the piping work that was done. That was the work they were contracted to do. The installation seems very professional and they did it faster than I had expected, and at a lower cost than quoted. While they did inform me that they had removed some clog material from the old pipe, it was within 1 week following the job that my bathtub drain was completely stopped up. I hired Roto Rooter to clear the drain and they said that I should have had a clean-out line put in while the new piping was being installed. American Tech did not inform me of that so I took one star off for that omission.

We replaced our existing tub with a larger tub. This required work to be done which was beyond the scope of the plumbing company. Thomas was extremely courteous and polite and willing to schedule his work around the carpentry, sheetrock, and tile work which was done by others. Our only concerns with this company with our finished project were that our new tub is not level (this is not noticeable to the eye but was apparent with the tile work) and that our tub drain is not completely flush. Next time we would have one contractor responsible for the whole project rather than trying to coordinate three contractors ourselves.

I was immediately and was able to make the appointment time I wanted. The day before I was called and asked to change the time, I had already made arraangements with my job so I refused, then another plumber was assigned my job. He arrived right on time. He did several plumbing jobs and had to make several trips to the store. The work took longer than I expected and I didn't realize the cost was going up and the ultimate bill seemed vey high to me. One of the toilets that was fixed began to leak that evening, so he had to come back to re-fix it. I will not contact this company again.

"Plumber was on job for 7 hours. He was called out to repair or replace 2 items. He ended up adding a replacement tub faucet, Kitchen sink faucet and total rebuild 2 toilets. Items were added one at a time while the plumber was working. Plumber reported 2 trips to the supply house when new projects were added. Repair to toilet was made at no additional cost to the homeowner when a bad fitting leaked on toilet."

Not satisfied with the level of service from this company. After installation of the hardware, the stems leaked which we had to repair.

"Customer furnished faucet bought from home depot, it was missing parts and damaged. We can not generally warrant parts bought elswhere, although we tried to repair the damaged faucet at customers request. Customer did not call us about any problems with faucet after installation."

Gas Piping
Thomas Wenzler came at the appointed time. The job was to increase thre flow to an outside gas BBQ. MLGW thought that the tap needed replacing. Thomas, instead, found that there was an obstruction in the pipe and the burners were clogged. He just cleaned it all up and didn't have to replace the tap.
