Don is a great guy to work with. He will go out of his way to make sure you're satisfied. He did great work painting our whole house and cupboards. I would recommend and hire him again.

We were totally satisfied with the awesome work performed my the whole American Veteran Painting team. They did a beautiful job painting and repairing the exterior of our home. In addition to the painting they made modifications to our deck with also turned out beautiful. The value of the job they did was well worth the cost. Thank you again Don and the paint crew!
Response from American Veteran Painting, LLC
"This exterior consisted of 8 different colors, plus we removed a lattice fill from the railings of the deck on the rear of the home and replaced it with custom spindles for an updated look and two tone finish. It looks amazing finished ! Thanks again for choosing us for your project. :)"

They did a poor to fair job but Don seemed to be insulted by my finding some things I wanted corrected. The boss/owner told me that he would personally be back to correct the problems. After over nine weeks of calling & talking about when he would do as he said he would, he told me that I was the most difficult customer he ever had & that he was '' never coming back ''. At first I thought that Don was a very honorable man & would certainly keep his word. I would also like to add that the two workers on the job were anything but professional painters.

"I'm very disappointed that we've received such a poor review. Especially since we have such a strong track record of happy customers and excellent reviews. I'm sorry that it's come to this, but I feel that in this situation, I don't have a choice but to rebutt with the facts; Mr. T hired us to complete a very small job for him, that consisted of painting the window trim only, on the exterior of his home. As part of that project, we agreed to pressure wash his windows and a ground floor patio, located at the back of his home, on the ground floor. This work should have taken 2 men, approximately 6 hours to complete. As Mr T and I agreed, I dropped off the supplies for the project at 0730, with work to begin at 0830, but before the crew even arrived, Mr T called me to log his first complaint. He wanted to know why my men weren't there at 0730, even though I had explained the work would begin at 0830. As the morning progressed, I was forced to reschedule my days work, so I could personally oversee his project, because Mr T was calling me back repeatedly. However, ALL of his questions & complaints concerned things that were outside of our scope of work, as agreed to in writing. Since my sincere desire is to add another satisfied customer to our already solid reputation, I did what I felt was the right thing to do and returned to his job to stay until completion. When I examined the work and asked the men how things were progressing, I saw NO DEFICIENCIES in the work that was being done. They did however, tell me that Mr T was criticizing the work before it was even close to being finished. My goal as I said, is to make our customer happy, so we added the following items to the work we did for Mr T at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE: 1) Pressure washed his second story deck. 2) Then when Mr T complained that he could see pollen between the boards of his second story deck after being pressure washed, I personally got on my Hands & Knees to clean between the boards of his second story deck.. (Mr T stood over me while I did this, so he could tell me when he was satisfied that it was clean enough). 3) We painted the railing that led to his second story deck, only to have him complain about it as well, saying "It could have been done better". But when I offered to correct what ever he was unhappy with, he couldn't find any deficiencies. 4) We reattached a piece of decorative stone that had come off of the front of his home, just because he asked if I knew how to reattach it. 5) Then I personally hand washed each of his windows, after he complained"For the price I'm paying you, you should be washing all of my windows". Once again, all 5 of these additions were at NO ADDITIONAL CHARGE. We did them because I wanted the customer to be happy with our work. When Mr T finally agreed that we had completed everything on the bid and then some, and stated that he was very happy with our work, it was around 8:45pm. So it too"

Don and his crew did an awesome job! I'm kind of a 'hands on look over your shoulder' home owner and they not only tolerated it but welcomed it. They began the work on time and finished it sooner than expected. Most paint crews only repaint. They replaced 'ALL' the damaged wood areas including some that I had not even noticed. Don and his crew pressure washed, caulked, primed and painted my entire home, shed and kid's play house utilizing the proper paint/stain for the different surfaces. When they were done we inspected everything and Don assisted with a few touch up points. My property looks like those in the best home magazines (everything now has the same color scheme and looks better than the day they finished building it). They cleaned up and left my property in better shape than when they arrived. I have to admit I thought the price quote was a little high but decided to take a chance with a fellow veteran and I am extremely glad I did. Don and his crew do quality work with quality products. Looking at my home now I feel the money I spent is well worth it and will call American Veteran Painting for my next painting projects. Thanks Don!

Dan with American Veteran Painting, LLC is a paint contractor most people dream of finding, and others are in pursuit of. I cannot say enough good things about this man and his company. I was one of these people who made the mistake of hiring men who proclaimed they were painters. After letting these guys butcher my house with THEIR paint job, I was in big trouble. I turned to Home Advisors and found Don Bradley with American Veteran Painting. What A lucky break!! Don possesses a great knowledge of his products, methods of preparation and trouble shooting the damage that needs to be corrected. And in my case the damage of a previous PAINT JOB !! Don is not shy of consulting with company reps on very difficult matters concerning your paint job. His painting personnel are all well experienced in the various areas of the painting process. Everyone is professional from top to bottom., and Don inspects the work on your job from every angle possible, at every step of the way. Even his own. Just do yourselves a favor. Talk to Don first, or talk to him last, but expose your project to a professional like him before a final decision is made. Your conscience will thank you, I know I was in a position none of you would want to be in. When you get an estimate from Don that is the price you will pay for the project. Amer Vet Paint is Don Bradley. and Don Bradley is Honest and METICULOUS!!! Please consult me for a reference, it would be my pleasure!

"We are always happy to have a satisfied customer, so when one endorses us with such a glowing rating, it is very humbling. This project was more challenging than most are, due to the "Hired hands" who had been there before us and made a significant mess of this man's home. But after the right materials and people were applied, not only was the problem the previous Hired hands left corrected, but the home looks like it belongs in Better Homes and Gardens ! Thanks again Mr. W !!!"
