The pro almost no called no showed me but he finally showed up 3 hours late and put me behind on Christmas. $95 deposit just to get an estimate.

Worst customer service we have ever experienced. The job was projected to be completed within 1 month. It took 6 months. Lots of imperfections that had to be corrected. The project manager was very difficult at times and a poor communicator as well. They didnt have a place to submit a review on their website so I am submitting one here and on the BBB.

When removing the mold they made me aware of the original damage so I could get to the root of the problem. I had no idea my roof was leaking. Now everything is repaired.

The company did the mold removal and painting as I requested. They charged $1794.54 total for the work. I had originally requested separate bids for the painting and mold removal. but they gave me a combined bid. I again requested separate bids and was given separate bids totaling a little less than $100.00 more than the original combined bid. I decided to have both projects done at the same time, so I accepted the combined bid. The office administrator charged me the sum of the separate bids even after I pointed out that I was having both projects done at the same time and the combined bid should apply. I feel that on a project involving this much money, that the office administrator should have been more reasonable.

American Water Damage was a pleasure to work with and got the job done right and on-time. I was very pleased with the results. I had some moldy spots on some of the basement boards. They cleaned it up so it looks like new.

They came out very quickly to fix the mold issue. There was a communication issue with the drywallers. When they came they did not have a tall enough ladder to do my high ceiling. So they had to come back the next day. I had a 12x3 ft L shape area to do. It took them 2 hrs just to install the drywall. It's in 4 pieces with gaps showing. She said the taping would hide it. I was not having taping done. It's not pretty. But it's only my garage. I would have given them 5 stars except for the drywallers.

Response time was quick and they were able to come out immediately. I am selling my home and had some questions after a home inspection, they came out did a visual inspection and gave me a quote right there. We scheduled a time for them to come out in the next two days and the work was completed before Christmas. I would use them again in the future for any water or mold needs.
