Amazing work

Jorge recently expanded my backyard patio, creating a wonderful space for relaxation and enjoyment. From the initial consultation to the final product, Jorge exceeded my expectations. He expertly guided me through the design process, ensuring the patio extension perfectly matched my vision. His quote was fair and competitive, and his communication throughout the project was excellent. Jorge and his team recently completed a re-surfacing of my pool using StoneScapes aqua white with portorico blend and new tile around the pool edges. Jorge came to my house within hours of our first contact and brought samples of StoneScape. He later e-mailed the catalogues of tile choices. I got a quote before the end of the day. Installation necessitated a removal of the old plaster. Work started within a week and was completed by October 9. Jorge was in constant contact advising what activities would be upcoming. The results are amazing, and his price was competitive. I am very satisfied.

Overall, very disappointed with the customer service. Jorge was more concerned with collecting money than a happy customer. Ultimately, as soon as they collected the last payment they didn't make sure all the equipment was functioning properly, including my handheld controller. Now hiring someone else to finish the job.

Jorge is absolutely the nicest most courteous guy you’ll ever meet. I posted on Nextdoor app for a recommendation for someone to do an acid wash on our 16 year old pool. He was the only one who responded offering the service. I gave him a call and he came out a couple of days later. Gave an honest opinion on the condition of our pool and the waste of money an acid wash would be. Considering it’s a 16 year old pool I believed him. I asked for a quote for a replaster job and the price he quoted was so reasonable. We got to work right away choosing plaster and pebble colors. He had samples in his truck so that was a plus not having to wait on him to come back. Throughout the process he sent us super easy virtual catalogs for us to browse through with pools. It made making decisions so much easier. We also had horrible boulders that the builders had put around the hot tub and on the pool steps. He was able to remove those and replace the flagstone. AMAZING! You would have never known they were there. His crew was so nice and worked so fast!!! My husband and I can’t stop looking at our pool! It is absolutely beautiful and a night and day difference!!! Jorge was so knowledgeable throughout the whole process and it was just a pleasure to have this company do our pool. You won’t be disappointed!

In June 2025, we requested Pool Service through Angies List. Several companies came out to our house at 3320 Otto Rd. Spring, TX, to give us estimates. We hired Americana Pool Services because, besides doing the pool work, they also agreed to do other home repairs. We made a partial payment of $15,780 to get work started. According to our agreement, Americana was to drain and clean the pool, plaster it with a high-grade material (10-year warranty). Power wash the waterfall rocks and the deck around the pool, which were then to be painted and sealed. They power-washed but said that the painting and sealing would be done after they plastered. On August 9th, they plastered the pool, but we were not satisfied with the work because the plaster did not appear to be uniform in color. Some areas appeared whiter than others (as if the plaster had been applied too thin), while other areas appeared too dark (as if dirty). The contractor, Jorge, was not pleased with our comments. He said the color would even out after the pool was filled and chemicals added. We did that, and the color improved, but there were some lighter and darker areas. On August 18th, Jorge informed us he did not feel comfortable working for us because of our complaints and that he was therefore withdrawing from the project. As stated above, we paid him 15,780 to start, but he only drained and cleaned the pool ($2000), plastered it ($8500), and pressure-washed a walkway ($200). He is also charging for the paint and sealer (which he left) to do the pool rocks and deck

Mr. Melendez came out on time. He discussed treatments and recommendations for my pool. Together we worked out a plan and a schedule for my pools chemical treatments.

We had many problems with the pool for the past few years and tried other services but were displeased. George Melendez was the first person who answered our Home Advisor request for service. He gave us an honest assessment, helping us to make the decision to remove the pool. It was built almost 50 years ago and would have required a large amount of money to restore it. Since we spent so much in the past few years and are senior citizens, we agreed with out daughter and George that it was time to take it out. The crew was efficient, courteous, and hard working. The price was fair, especially because with all the rain and flooding, they had extra work to pump out the water several times. George went far beyond the call of duty to make sure that we were satisfied. I can't imagine anyone else who would be as perfect for our pool needs than he was. I highly recommend American Pool Service.

George did a great job explaining the hows and whys of water chemistry. He gave me options on how to attack my problem, and he made suggestions on preventative maintenance. Ibwill use Americana Pool Service again in the future.

George was very supportive of an unusual job, flexible and supported a second visit. Great value and someone that does the extra's, like replacing a seal that was not part of the job.

Got my pool equipment working and was very prompt and early by two days to repair the pump. Will now use this company in the future. Good service.
