I would strongly caution anyone considering Americas Best Construction, LLC or working with Nick Whitney. We hired this company in July 2025 to build our home, with a promised completion date of November 27, 2025. She paid over $167,000, including funds designated for materials through her bank loan. This project was medically necessary due to my medical condition, requiring specialized materials for a safe living environment, clearly communicated from the start. Whitney presented himself as having a doctorate in healthcare administration and experience building hospital clean rooms, influencing our trust. Despite repeated assurances the project was on track, no significant progress was made. There has been no meaningful accounting of funds, and multiple subcontractors report nonpayment. Nick Whitney helped design and build a home from start to finish using a 20 year old blueprint. Nick was involved from the beginning in redesigning old plans from 2005 and making them up to code as well as responding to our day to day input to produce a working set of drawings for a custom home we could only dream of. Nick is a hands on builder able to execute and anticipate changes needed along the way to make sure all of our wishes were addressed. Nick and his crews strive for excellence using the best of materials as well as going the extra mile making sure work meets or exceeds existing building code. We are currently midway in the construction of our home and look forward to its completion by the end of October 2024. We would give our highest recommendation to Nick Whitney and Americas Best Construction for any home building or remodeling projects large or small. You will not be disappointed.
