Carpentry Framing - Repair

While the owner Mr. Manny Castro pretends to be a big-time builder it is essentially a two-man operation; he and his brother. The work that needs to be done turned out to be more complicated and extensive than originally thought. More extensive rotten and damaged siding. The work that I hired him to do is still not completed. He began the job about a week ago. He was supposed to return this morning to complete the repairs he started, but all he wanted to discuss was doing additional work on the house which in my opinion is beyond his capabilities. He then left and the repair work he started remains incomplete. Unfortunately, I already advanced him $1,600. What happens next remains to be seen? Unfortunately, in my opinion, Mr. Castro is all talk, no action, and extremely poor results! - EAMJR.
