I received a quote for $450 to close my pool which is pretty standard for my pool. They then billed me for $900 without even discussing it with me. They claimed that there was excessive work that caused my pool closing to be at a much higher cost! They also claim that there was a *verbal agreement* to the increased charge but that conversation never happened. In fact, I only found out about the overcharge when saw the credit card statement. Buyer beware! They are untrustworthy. I am opening a dispute with my credit card company.

First of all, this gentleman DID NOT hire us through Homeadvisor. Check our other reviews. We try to make everyone happy, but this customer was "difficult." We quote $450 over the phone when the customer says his pool is a normal size, one-pump, normally mounted cover, and clean/clear of debris. This is what we found on arrival: - On arrival the technicians noted that the pool was full of leaves and debris, which required extensive cleaning - The pool equipment area had three (3) pump-systems versus the standard single system. - The pool cover attached to a raised wall using a cable system, for which ASP charges extra. - The pool cover attachment was missing parts for the cable system, which ASP provided. - The homeowners did not provide winterizing plugs as instructed. ASP provided the plugs for winterizing the pool.

Very dependable and reasonable prices for work. Replaced my pool heater that never worked from day of original installation. They recommended another brand and type of heater and it worked fine. Will call then again when I need some repairs done.

From the owner: Please note that the customer did not provide any details about why he gave us a bad review, only that he had a bad experience. There are many reasons to get your pool professional to procure and install equipment for you. We take responsibility for fixing problems with new equipment we have procured for the customer. He bought a heater online and it did not work properly due to problems with electrical and gas systems.The homeowner's pool equipment was rife with electrical code and other violations, and NOT SAFE to work on. Not a pleasant experience for my employees. Homeowner not pleasant..

James and his family all took part of the project. They took my outdated pool equipment and replaced it with a new salt water system that keeps my water super clean with much less maintenance . They recommended the equipment based on my needs and did not up-sell me on useless upgrades to the sand filter I bought.
