Storm Windows Installation or Replacement
The new windows look much better than the old ones. Noise abatement was my primary concern, but there's very little difference. Energy saving was next, but my electric bill actually increased! The 2 large bedroom windows were incorrectly measured and arrived with a 3/4" gap at the top and side. The installer refused to spray foam, saying it would expand and warp the frame. I had to call Mark and insist. Several days later, he returned to finish the job.

Mark was very responsive, and his workers did a good job, were polite, ON TIME (not always the case with contractors) and did a decent job with cleanup. The windows are awesome, and we are really enjoying how they've made a difference in the temperatures of the rooms and the sound.. Nicely done!

Americraft was on time and they did quality job removing the old windows and installing the new windows. The only thing I would had done differently was old windows had wired alarms. When the new windows where installed the holes for the sensor in the windows frame did not line up with the hole in the window opening of the house. I would have had them drill new holes that line up and run the wires to the other hole.

Very efficient and professional personnel. The crew was very careing and careful. The installation was done to perfection including the cleanup at the end of the job. I did not have to pick or clean after they left. The doors are light years ahead of the standard sliding glass doors we previously had been dealing with. Thanks to all!! Mark's presentation was superlative and embraced all of our questions/ concerns etc. Cost was the defining factor. Despite all discounts and rebates, the overall cost could not be justified in terms of energy savings, resale value, or increased comfort.

windows are great and received them quickly. Only complaint is that when the windows were taken out, I found glass all the way across the bedroom and slivers of metal all over the furniture and comforters so spent a lot of time vacuuming after the instalation was complete.
