Ameritex Movers, Inc.

Terrible experience -Salesman didn't disclose all the hidden fees even though we asked directly and later had to pay an extra $120. -Workers often stood around not doing much and charged 7 hours compared to the 5 that the salesman estimated after I told him literally every piece of furniture in my house. -Took apart a twin daybed frame which was super light and then told me they could not put it back together. Wasted about a full hour on that. -Broke a dozen mugs and chipped a plate. -Didn't put boxes in rooms they were marked to go in. -Didn't use protective coverings like mattress pads we told them we wanted. -The lead mover acted like he could not speak English and required me to sign without letting me read what it was or answering my questions why I was signing -Manager in office was dismissive/played dumb and didn't take responsibility for the wasted time or hidden fees. Finally got a hold of lead manager who issued a small refund (5% of total I paid when I asked for 12%)

We had Ameritex move us from north Dallas to Houston. I can tell you firsthand this is the company to use. Herson and his crew were fantastic and did a professional job. Will definitely use again.

Movers stole my daughters Nintendo Switch when they moved her last week. We've called the company twice, both times they've denied the theft. We are filing a police report today I'm trying to give the company the chance to make things right We want the Switch returned...no questions asked, just return it Or refund the moving fees to cover the cost of a new Switch. We have and will continue to leave negative reviews & tell everyone about our experience with the company. According to the reviews, we are not the only ones the movers are stealing from.

This was my first time using movers. I always did it myself. I will never do it again. This company was absolutely amazing!! From start to finish. They moved fast and efficient, taking the time needed to protect my furniture and clear each room. The setup in the new house was just as smooth. They moved so quick I didn’t even realize there was a set of twins working! Didn’t find out until the last load was done. My reservation about hiring movers was the thought that they would drag the time out to run up the ticket. Definitely not the case here. I am beyond impressed with the service from booking to the finish. I have already told others to hire them when they move so I will say the same to you, Hire Ameritex Movers, Inc. You will not be disappointed!!

Will move next week

Jorge and his 2 helpers worked fast and were friendly throughout loading at my 3rd floor mid-rise, then to my son's ground floor apartment, then an hour away to our new house north of Tomball. All in around 7 hrs. Could not be more pleased. They wrapped all my furniture and nothing was damaged. Will definitely hire them again

They took about $20 in quarters we forgot that was in a lil bucket in our garage.. and they took so much time wrapping absolutely EVERYTHING in moving blankets and thousands of windings of plastic wrap that I would say they doubled the time it took to move us. By the time we noticed how slow it was going it was too late to even complain. They were charging per hour and it took nine hours for six men and two trucks to move a 2400 square foot house. They worked hard though I will say.

My appointment was set 8/11 am I was lies to and miss lead by the company, I waited for 8 hours to get my move done, poor service and professionalism, never been so out done in my life, can't refer them for nothing!!!!

They were very accommodating, very cheerful and VERY efficient!

Everything went as planned.

Very professional.

As a process and systems person both personally and professionally, I tend to notice the process when interacting with businesses. There overall process, price and customer service was outstanding. The crew was fantastic. Nothing bad to say. Thanks again.

These movers were early, worked tirelessly in 100-degree heat, and took excellent care of all my possessions. I highly recommend them.

Move with ameritex was worth every penny in addition to fantastic customer service. We wouldn't have asked for more professional and courteous moving team. A truly great moving experience. Will be referring them to everyone we know.

Fantastic experience. Very responsive, professional and helpful sales consultant, and fast preparation of insurance certificates for both origin and destination. Very easy to work with - they provided a fixed quote, which we updated the day before the move when I realized I had more to move than expected. No surprises on the day - the move went very smoothly. I received a call 30 minutes before arrival as promised, and the team arrived on time. Jose and the crew worked quickly and protected our furniture well - everything arrived in A1 condition. Overall, extremely pleased to have found these movers. Highly recommended.

I have to say that from start to finish, this move was a fantastic experience. The initial support and the quote were tremendously helpful because I had no idea what to expect. The crew they sent couldn't have been faster, nicer or more professional. They made moving out & in the best experience that I could have imagined. They even went the extra mile of breaking down countless boxes and carrying out a ton of trash which was an incredible help to me. Every aspect of this was 5 stars & I'd happily recommend Ameritex to anyone who is moving.

Our move isn't complete yet but I wanted to give a shoutout to crew who came and picked up our stuff for a local move yesterday. They came right one time, took care of our boxes right away, wrapped the big items and artwork extra carefully and never complained about the five flights of stairs once! They were were amazing and it was refreshing to see how much genuinely cared about us and our stuff. If you are moving, I would definitely recommend Ameritex. If you aren't, you should consider moving just so you can hire them :)

I recently used ameritex moving and I could not be happier. They were very personable and careful. They came to my house and assessed how much I had to move. In the end they did so much more than expected. Would not use any other moving company!

I am writing this for my mother who used this company today. The 2 movers, Alex and Marvin, were outstanding. They were very responsible, kind and hardworking. My mother highly recommends this company.

After talking to too many none sense moving companies, I finally talked to someone from Ameritex and I could immediately tell that this company is serious and professional. After a reasonable quote, we have decided to work together. From there, the company sent the documents for me and the landlord, all was clear and set up. The day of the move, 2 very nice and pro guys arrived and ready to move my stuff. They were super careful with the breakables, very organized and fast. The movers had quite of a drive and moved all back in the new place, rebuild the bed frame and all was smooth and perfect. The price and the professionalism of the company is a go-to. I highly recommend them. Great job guys!

As anyone that has lived in Houston for more than a few years, I've had my fair share of moving company experiences. Ranging from bad to fairly unpleasant. Eric and team from Ameritex Movers were fantastic. They made my move easy, went the extra mile and were professional and prompt. Also the prices are very competitive with similarly high-rated moving companies. This is the first moving company I've reviewed and I have to say, they're great so you should stop screwing around with the other frauds out there and, as Eric would say, make your move a happy memory!

These people are amazing! I have moved about 19 times in 5 years. Yes! That's true. I know a lot about moving and I have tried a lot of companies. These people are so professional and they know exactly what they are doing. Plus they are all so polite and kind and considerate and very prompt. They do exactly what they say they will do and they follow instructions perfectly. I would highly recommend them to anyone. I will also always go back to them in the future. They know about the COI and were super fast at getting it to me so I could send it to both my building management companies at both locations. Absolutely amazing job! Ask for Daisy she is very polite and super nice.

Very professional. Handled all of our furniture with care. Nothing was damaged. They stated they'd arrive between 9 and 11 and came by 9. They had us moved from our old home to our new home 40 minutes away by 1:30pm. They have a flat rate which is great. Would definitely use them again in the future

Friendly, kind and hardworking. The crew was organized and efficient. They took the time to be careful with all of our belongings and the homes. I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Saw reviews on here, used previously another popular company.Went for something different. Crew was polite and keep me informed of situations as they developed. They were friendly and helpful with last minute re-arrangements. Recommended.
