Response to my initial request on Home Advisor was within the first two hours of my submitting the request. He came out the following day to give me and estimate on the spot. Eric (the owner) is SO easy to work with. He listened to what I was needing and adjusted plans when I requested. He was very attentive to what I was envisioning and always wanted to make sure that I was happy with what he did. I WILL be hiring him again for more work at my home. What a great guy!! My landscaping turned out even better than what I had anticipated. *** update*** The drainage system that he installed has not held up and I cannot get a response from him.

Dishonest and Poor workmanship. I would never recommend anyone to hire.... in spite of these other reviews that I have read. (Don't get suckered like I did!) Eric said he had done asphalt driveways, but it became apparent that he didn't know what he was doing or didn't care. Weather was still good in Nov, so we tried to get it done then. Used a base asphalt mix instead of fine sand mix for residential. (Now we know better) Then completely botched the last 1/3 of driveway. We were in a time crunch and had to leave before last part was finished so we gave him the check, which he cashed right away. When we called next morning about rough divots and clumps in surface, he assured that he would fix in March. In March, we spoke with Eric 3x about fixing the job - all excuses and he never showed up. We ended up paying another paving Contr $1200 to fix the driveway. So, Not only did Eric Dutton not do a good job, but also he is dishonest and not trustworthy. I would never recommend. Buyer Beware!

Regarding Mr. Eric Dutton with Amore Construction. Recently I used Home Advisor to find someone willing to tear down a small wall in my home and Mr. Eric Dutton responded within the first few hour of my request. His onsite assessment and bid was done within 24 hours of the call. Not only was he fair in the cost of the removal of the wall but his skill, planning and promptness was key in getting the project done to my satisfaction. After the wall removal Mr. Eric Dutton painted several rooms in our home as well as the removal of a backyard patio cover and deck with the same consistency. Finding someone to trust in the current times is difficult but for Mr. Dutton he stands out as exceptional because of his integrity, versatile skillsets and fairness. We will be trusting and calling Mr. Dutton for future projects. He gets 10 out of 5 stars, in my book.

Left defects in the drive (hole and uneven portion). Did not correct despite promise to do so. After several calls I gave up.

They did not do what I asked, said he misunderstood but if I paid ,they would come back and finish up which they did not do, and upon closer inspection, the work they did was unsatisfactory. And then would not answer the phone or respond to my messages

The guy was easy to talk to. They pretty much did what I asked them to do. I don't give 5's very easily.

Did what he said he was going to do. I had no problems with him and he was very easy to work with. I will definitely use him in the future

He did a great job

I was very pleased with the quality of work performed. I was especially pleased with an alternative product to gravel or asphalt which was re-grinded asphalt. Would highly recommend.

They are very attentive to getting the project done right. Very good value for the money.
