I am an unhappy customer. For a (literally) 15 minute job, they charged me a rate $700+/hour for labor, plus a 100% mark-up on the retail price of the part. I gave Amore the opportunity to explain the alarming situation and address my concerns, but they offered no reasonable explanation. I am perfectly willing to to talk to both Amore and Home Advisor to come to a better conclusion for this case. My only recourse is to share my experience in hopes others will see my experience. I provide a quick description of my experience with Amore, LLC below. When I described the symptoms, the master plumber immediately guessed that my problem an old pressure reducing value in need of replacement. He refused to give a ballpark estimate because some jobs are more complicated than others. But I asked him, do you charge parts & labor, or do you charge by the job?� He responded that he would invoice me for PARTS AND LABOR. A couple of days later a plumber showed up at my house. After 5 minutes in my basement he called me at work to say that it was in fact the pressure reducer and that he had the part in the truck. He estimated that it would cost about $450. 10 minutes later he was packed up and gone. Based on the price, the amount of time it took was far, far less than I expected, so I got suspicious. I did some research based on the serial number on my new part and learned that the retail price for the part is about $75. Other searches suggested that the total cost for this repair should have been in the $100-$200 range for my area (about $200 for complex jobs with the valve completely inaccessible behind a wall or hot-water-heater). When I got home I looked at the invoice to look at the parts/labor breakdown, and I found out that the plumber did not provide the promised breakdown. He only gave me a bottom-line number. I called the master plumber back to ask why it cost so much, and he actually launched into a rant suggesting that he directly incorporates costs like fuel, mileage, and the special tools required for his business into my price. I found this highly irregular, but I asked for the detailed breakdown (by parts and labor) so that I could understand specifically what I was being charged for. He has refused to provide this basic information. Amore committed to me that they would be charging the job as parts and labor. Then they switched to pricing per-job without factoring the actual parts and labor when they saw how easy mine was to replace. Had it been a difficult and involved repair I have no doubt they would have charged parts and labor to maximize their take. It is not fair to agree on parts and labor then to switch when you realize it is to your advantage, which is what Amore did. I gave them more than three weeks time to provide explanation, reassurance or any indication that I had been treated fairly before providing this negative feedback, but they have not done anything.

I had my toilet replaced because there was a crack and Amore Enterprise replaced quickly and efficiently. Even took away the old toilet! Definitely recommend them!

Their service was on time as expected. The work was quality. The technician was very professional and very courteous. I would use them again if the need arises.

Jeff and his crews were great. We just bought a house and needed a lot of work done before our movers came. His crew did everything from install the gas range to get the water filter installed. And then when the dishwasher wasn't draining the next day the crew came out before their morning call to fix it for no extra charge. Great customer service and I know who will be doing my plumbing from now on.

They said that they would come look at the look at the toilet and tell me if they could repair it. They took off the toilet, said they could not do the work, replaced toilet. They wanted to charge me $200 for 5 minutes of "work". When I complained, they "knocked off" $50 for final charge of $150. Extremely egregious behavior. Do NOT HIRE THESE GUYS. Very disappointed with Home Advisor.

Amore rep Lindsey was very helpful in answering questions about our need for a new water heater as part of a home sale. While the existing unit met current codes, the buyer wanted a new one as part of the sale; it was old and didn't have the capacity any longer. Lindsey was responsive even when there was no certainty we would do the job or hire Amore. When we decided to do the work, they were able to get it done within a week and at a much lower cost than 2 other contractors who also quoted the work. We would use them again if we needed similar HVAC/plumbing work.

We had Amore come out to fix a broken water valve and check the water pressure in our pipes. We scheduled an appointment online on a Sunday evening for the very next day. They were early to our appointment but called ahead to ensure that was ok (of course it was, we were home). They did a great job and we are very satisfied with their work. A good, reputable local business. I will hire again.

The flange of the toilet is broke and the toilet seat is wobbling. I am able to talk to Lisa quickly and got the estimate on the phone. The price is right and affordable. The crew came out on time and started working on project immediately. The work was completed to my satisfaction. I am going to hire them for my other rental properties for any plumbing works.

It was a pleasure to deal with Amore Plumbing. They installed a new hot water heater; arrived early did a great installation job. Only issue was the first inspection didn't pass due to heading of the flue but that was taken care of promptly. Very courtesy customer service representative (Lindsay); always followed up immediately and was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend Amore to friends.
