Very efficient and affordable

The tile grout used was defective. I am not sure if it was mixed improperly or what the problem was. Richard asked for (and was given) payment immediately upon completion of the job when the grout was still wet since he said he had to leave town the following day to attend a funeral. He claimed that he guaranteed his work if there were any problems though. After the grout dried, the problem became immediately apparent and I sent him photos. Richard has been saying for the past seven months that he will fix the problem **soon** but nothing has been done to remedy the situation. There were also a few areas that had no grout applied at all and he left several dozen blobs of grout on the face of the tiles that I had to scratch off myself. There were other issues prior to that: On the day he arrived to begin the work, he realized the job was more difficult than he thought so the quoted price went up; one of the scheduled work days was canceled because they wanted to go camping; several more days he was scheduled to work he never showed up at all and did not call to cancel. FYI this is the first poor review I have ever left. I understand that things happen and I am generally willing to give people a chance to fix their mistakes. If Richard had actually repaired the grout at any point in the last seven months like he kept saying he would, I probably would have been satisfied enough to let it go and not leave a review at all.

Richard was most professional and honest when it came to doing the work. He could have easily recommended more than he did but was very honest in his appraisal of the what the job entailed. The work was done in a very professional manner and he was a delight to work with.

I hired Richard to install tile on my fireplace. After two days the grout was cracking and there were spots that were not grouted. He came out and fixed those and said that the plastic framing he put in may not hold. After about a week it started cracking and now there are more cracks and gaps in the grout. He said he will probably have to replace it with caulking. Two months later and this is still not complete. communication is lacking in customer service.

He was polite and lovely to work with. He did an excellent job on my flooring project and I would reccomend to anyone.

Their workmanship is excellent, the price is very reasonable. Good people and very respectful.

Richard did a fabulous job. I completed all the prep and Ancient did the tile and grout. the tile looks great and they left the jobsite very clean. Highly recommended.

I have been having a frustrating time finding good contractors who know how to not only do the work that they are hired to do but communicate well with their customers and show up when they say they will. Richard Frachowiak did all of these things as well as give me a beautifully tiled shower at a reasonable price. I have already referred him to two people. I just hope that I am able to get him when I need him for my next project. He might be too busy since he does such good work!!

Excellent work,reasonably priced and kept the work area clean. Richard was ontime and called if he would be delayed put runners down on our floors to help keep them clean. I would hire them again and will let everyone I know what excellent work he does.

Richard us an expert tile installer We had an old tile floor very difficult to demo It is now gorgeous as well as other tile updates in 2 bathrooms Richard is very easy to work with, very professional, we would highly recommend him for any tile job
