"ALL WARRANTY WORK HAS BEEN COMPLETED AS JULY 2018. Anderson Brothers Inc. First of all, there is no mention of window sills in that contract. As he stats "he was responsible for the removal and also states the fact the installers knew nothing about the sills". Now he states "how difficult it was and he wants to be compensated for it". I have learned from past experiences that you promise nothing without it being in writing. As for the tapcons, the installer might have taken them inadvertently because we usually use our own. This is why he calls us thieves? We asked him to provide a receipt for the tapcons that he purchased so that we could return the proper amount, since it would be easy to count how many we used. To date, we still do not have the receipt. The job was completed on 8-5-17, however, we were not contacted until 8-9-17 about his concerns and he informed us that he had fixed the concerns himself. We would have taken care of all of his issues, but was never given the opportunity. There were some issues between us and the vendors on the warranty work as well as dealing with the tremendous volume of calls from the hurricane. To date: we are willing to replace his tapcons and all his issues with warranty parts that are at our shop. He refuses to let us complete the warranty work. He is looking for a $1,000.00 refund to clean up a little debris and re-caulk some windows (which is extreme) we would have done it immediately if he had contacted us right away. He needs to let us honor the warranty issues and close this out. We feel that he is looking for a $1,000.00 refund. I will be following up with Home Advisors' review team with all my documentation.
