Good to work with,great quality, project delayed by other workload, overall did a great job.

He gave me an estimate, i paid half up front, I heard nothing from Anderson for 4 weeks, then I called to complain, left message. Anderson shows up next day without calling me. I don't even know they are there until I get home and they are finishing up. Without permission of my neighbors, they connected into their outside outlets for power (hilarious to me). Then i complain about it, and he charges me $250 more than originally estimated. He did not call me to get my approval. I just showed up to this extra charge. IF you think that this is correct behavior from a contractor, you found your man. I won't use him again.

The deck is for the most part attractive, but overpriced. There are some small "goofs" in the construction -- unforgivable for the amount of money paid, plus the design falls short of my expectations based on what was proposed at the time of signing the contract. Anderson has never returned to finish several important details despite my leaving 2 messages. The lesson here is not to trust in integrity, and to refuse to pay the balance until ALL work is complete. Anderson did not provide an invoice or breakdown of charges upon completion for my records and in fact had to insist on an initial contract at time of downpayment.

They didn't even start until after the completion date in the contract.

I am not sure you got my first rating so I will do it agin. Jeff charged $4,500.00 to lay interlocking blocks staked 2 high halfway of the 16ft. along side of driveway, added 3ft. to side of apran, and 3 blocks of sidewalk. I furnished the blocks,caps and the filldirt to fill in between the driveway and blocks. We wer not given a copy of the contract. We have needed a deck for several years and showed us a picture of one he built. He wanted $12,000.00 to build a 20ft.X16ft. 6ft. high 45% corners, he called it a custom built deck. We paid by check,$4,500.00 for laying the blocks and $4,500.00 down on deck. Jeff called and said he couldn' cash the checks because he didn't have an account. Jeff wanted us to take the checks to our bank and get cash for him, agin we wer not given a receipt or a copy of contract.The lumber was delivered and Jeff wanted another $4,500.00 cash. Agin no receipt. Jeff then gave us a paper saying we owed another $4,500.00 when finished. We owe $3,000.00 and this time if Jeff doesn't take a check he won't get paid. My bank toeld us they would cash the checks at our bank for him.Jeff only needs to put sealer on the deck and it is finished. They did do a good job but he charged us way too much money. I waited to long to cancel (3 days) and got an estimate by clicking project estimate on servicemagic web site. The same deck only made of vinyl should cost between $9,293 to $11,152. Our lumber cost $1,467.98. Like I said they did a good job but I feel we wer overcharged, and the incconvenience of running to the bank because Jeff wanted to be paid in cach since he couldn't cash them at his bank. Happy with the deck, just not happy with the price.

it's been 2 months since I paid in full. The wrong size gate was installed and has not yet been replaced. Jeff said he contracted it out (after 1 month), and the fence company would be installing it. I've heard nothing from the fence company; Jeff was supposed to check on it and call me back. He did not. He just doesn't care. Although the cement work itself was satisfactory.I would not recommend dealing with this man and his company!

American Chimney and Brickwork said they only did chimneys. Anderson was able to work around my work schedule and my wife's cardiac rehab appointments. Their work was timely, and quality was good. They were able to do some other work on the house (electrical). Cost was a little more than I had budgeted, but they were able to reduce the final cost somewhat. Martin Gibbons
