Fixed Generator Installation
First day 3 men showed up from Rochester, 2.5 hours away! Very nice, polite and went right into installing. I had a prior commitment so they left early, back two days later and finished the installation> Shut off our power and the generator started, all power back on, awesome! Explained sequence of future maintenance, reset everything then left! Perfect no problems would recommend the workers , will let you know about the generators at a later date!

Paul Kittel came out on an emergency basis on a Saturday and helped me figure out where the problem was. Santina was incredibly helpful, as always. She is a treat to work with. Paul was able to get me up and running and suggested some additional work that he will be doing next week. This organization has the best customer service I have seen in our area. I highly recommend them.

Fixed Generator Installation
There was a three-person crew from Anderson Power and water that installed my new Cummins Generator. I was very impressed with them from the start. They knew exactly what to do and did it efficiently. They kept me informed and engaged in the project, yet they did not tie me down to a specific location. They did everything efficiently and cleaned up after they were done. I was thrilled with the team.

Water Treatment & Purification System Repair or Service
Five minute repair that could have been explained to me on phone. Instead they send a repairman to literally tighten a screw and charge me $179 for a service call. Less than five minutes work and the screw came loose again, so I put thread lock on the screw and permanently fixed the problem. This probably should have been done during installation. This sort of work is a ripoff and I will never call for service again. The lifetime warranty is on the equipment, they will still hit you hard for a service charge. I fully retract my previous evaluation. This not a service, it is a money machine designed to get every penny they can, even if the equipment was done poorly. (a screw that keeps backing out is always locktited in the machine world, I know, I did it for years).

We wanted to replace an 18 year old noisy generator with a new quieter unit. Tom came out to do the estimate and was right on time. He was his usual jovial self and we got right to business. We discussed what Anderson would replace the present unit with and why Cummins was the best unit on the market. I was determined to get 3 more estimates, but that is when Tom turned on his salesmanship and we will have a new generator in the next 2 weeks. get 3 more estimates for comparison purposes, but Tom turned weeks.

Devin came to do routine maintenance on our generator. He arrived on time, and immediately introduced himself. Devin explained what was involved in the maintenance process. After that he got right to work. He didn’t maintenance, and ran the generator to make sure everything was in good order. He asked if I had and questions about what he had done or anything at all generator related. He then finished the paperwork, shook hands and left. He was friendly, courteous and professional. I would be glad to have Devin return for future service. Great job!!!

Tom was great! The installers were exceptional. Good clean install. They even rescheduled us..... for 2 weeks earlier than set appointment. Easy payment terms. We elected to pay a substantial amount down. Tom showed us many generator options. We checked everything and selected the best option for us. No pressure sales tactics. THE INSTALLERS DIDN'T GOOF AROUND EITHER. THEY DID THE JOB AND CLEANED UP AFTER THEMSELVES. Thank you.

Outstanding. After a 10 year install with basically nothing but just adding salt once in a great while I called Kathy and she promptly sent out Ed from god know where to make sure our system installed by them was still functioning properly. The appointment was set about a week out, confirming the day before. Ed messaged me (as per my specific request) before he arrived and arrived on time in an easy to identify professional vehicle. He waited patiently as I secured the dogs and went right to work. He inspected the system, noted how good the condition was and tested the mechanisms to make sure they worked properly. He then went to work on finding a good spot to test our well water before the systems in place. This is where I always get nervous because I have no clue what this drop does and what the color means etc. He took his time and reported the well was good and to just keep doing what we were doing. No upsell. No negativity. He buttoned up the system and reviewed with me how to gently increase or decrease the feeling of “softness” in our well water but basically just left it alone. The system was empty (intentionally in case it needed internal inspection) and I asked if I could at least buy a bag of salt from him, he didn’t have any on board but did recommend because we use so little that we stop using pellets and start using shavings. While I knew the visit would not be free, I felt it fair considering the peace of mind it will give my wife and how long it’s been since they were here. He left and was on his way when the Kathy called and asked if I needed them to get a bag of shaved salt out to me today. I told her I was all set but thanked her for the follow up. I also want to add that Tom Gerstner came to our home for the original sales call where he sold us this softener system, tankless water heater and whole house generator. I texted his 10 year old contact number while making the appointment, and he promptly replied. That in itself should put anyone considering Anderson mind at ease. Thanks Kathy, Ed and of course Tom.

My whole house generator project was a great experience from the sales meeting to the installation. The salesman was actually the owner who explained the products, the history of the company, and even took care of the financial. The installation was only 2 days later which was performed by a very knowledgeable and professional team, they were attentive to details, explained everything as they went, and were careful to meet a few expectations I had. They cleaned up nicely afterwards, explained the operation, they even took care of the permit from the town. Overall a great experience for a high quality product that will bring peace of mind for many years
