We hired this company to convert an existing space into a bathroom and closet. We agreed to the quoted price for labor and the three week timeline to have the job completed. Once they began, they realized that in addition to digging under an existing powder room, they'd also have to dig up the laundry room floor. This was not an issue until the third week passed and both of those rooms were still not restored to their original condition. We also began noticing a lot of imperfections in the new work but since we were in so deep financially with labor and material costs, we decided to deal with it. However, when my husband and I noticed the heated vent that they incorrectly installed, we had to speak up. We wanted this type of vent to bring warmth to the new bathroom in the colder months, but these guys installed it where the heat comes on every time you turn on the bathroom light. That will not work in warmer months so my husband asked the general contractor, Abraham R. to fix it so it' s installed properly. Abraham's response was that it's too late. Too late? It should have been installed on a three function switch, which we didn't know because we are not contractors. The fact that they installed it incorrectly should not have been our problem. Ultimately, Abraham's refusal to correct the improper installation lead to a big disagreement and Abraham ultimately quit. He packed his stuff up after being paid more than 80% of labor costs and left. I'd estimate that they were only about 60% done with the job, so we now have to figure out how we can finish the project and find someone willing to accept the last payment we owed Abraham. Itâ s highly unlikely that anyone will complete all the remaining work for the mere amount we still owed. Aside from all the unfinished work, they left a huge pile of trash in our back yard. When asked about removing it, Abraham said he'd only remove it as a curtesy if we promised not to sue him or leave a bad review. We are leaving an honest review, and since it will likely cost more than what we owed his company to finish job, we have no choice but to pursue this in court. Bottom line, this company did improper work and quit when asked to correct it, they did not leave all the tools we had to purchase for job completion, we've had another contractor review our receipts and learned that we paid for materials that we should not have paid for, we made three of the four labor payments totaling $9.5k with only a 60% finished job, we have a huge pile of trash in the yard that they left behind, we have two additional rooms they disturbed that still need repair, and we now have filth an odor that we have to address. Regardless of Abrahams threats, we are consulting with an attorney to determine our best course of action against this company, and weâ ll be filing a claim with the BBB. words of advice, insist on getting all receipts for material purchases and diligently check EVERY single receipt, do not pay more than 1/2 to 2/3 of the charges before the job's completion, and (it's crazy to have to do this but) micro manage every phase of the work to ensure it's done properly. After spending over $20k ($9.5k in labor and $13k in materials) we wish had done these things.

The whole process from our first walk through the model homes to closing and even the support afterwards has been so personal and much less stressful than it would have been without such talented, responsive, professional and capable leaders. The design center experience was so much fun despite the pressure of so many choices. The support and communication from our sale representative and construction manager throughout the building process was phenomenal. And now that we have moved in and are enjoying our new home, we continue to be impressed with amazing customer service and support. Andrade have completed several projects for me to include roofing, flooring, bathroom remodeling, fireplace, and wall repairs. I have been extremely happy with the work he has done. So much so, that I plan to have him construct a retaining wall. His crew is professional, timely, and creative. He are exceptional in proving ideas to improve projects.
