They did not mark the boxes so when we got to the new place we did not know which boxes belonged to which room. They also did not unpack even though that was in the agreement. And they brought items that I specifically asked them not to bring. Other than that, they packed items well.

We were called the morning of the move to inform us that we would be charged an extra $590 because the truck driver was unwilling to navigate our driveway which is paved and surrounded by 285 feet of frontage. Either the driver was bone idle or the estimator did not do her job, but we paid the entire cost for it. A foot came off my antique desk and a strip of molding from a bookshelf came off before they even left the house. When we unpacked boxes we found significant breakages. This was my first experience with a professional moving company. In the past it was always friends helping for pizza and beer. I packed boxes marked fragile well enough for them not to break them, but Andrews managed to smash quite a bit.

Andrews has moved our household 3 times, each time without a hitch. I've never had damage or missing items. The movers were always professionally dressed, pleasant and polite, and very hard-working. This family-owned company has had a very good reputation for decades which they have definitely and consistently earned. While you may be able to find cheaper prices, you won't find a better more worry-free move.

Andrews made the stress that usually accompanies moving unnoticeable. We just moved my mother-in-law from California to Northeast Ohio and we truly couldn't imagine a better experience.
