I did not hire Andrew for Drywall Repair but for wallpaper removal and possibly other things if I liked his work. It was troubling to me that he had NO reviews for construction type work though he maintained that he was experienced at just about anything I might want. My experience with the wallpaper removal job was not good. He knew I was working under a deadline but failed to inform me when accepting the job that if it snowed he would not come. So he was supposed to come Monday but didn't because it snowed. Tuesday he was supposed to come but his truck broke down. Wednesday he promised to show up "first thing" and and when I pressed for an hour said "ten at the latest." Not first thing, in the construction business! I told him I had an appt at 10:30 so he said he'd be there at nine. He showed at 9:50 with a helper who mentioned that he had no experience. I left them for three hours and found them gone on my return. Place was a mess, dishwasher was empty but running madly (guess the steamer I had rented for them wasn't getting the job done fast enough to suit them), the windows were so fogged up that when we left at four the place was still steamed up) and the quality of the work was worse than my own. My husband and I began cleaning up immediately and resumed (we had begun on Tuesday when Andrew failed to show) the task ourselves. When they returned about an hour later we fired them with 1/2 the pay agreed upon for a full day's work.

They did a really good job.
