Andy Marshall was one of the contacts sent to us by Home Advisor when we were looking for someone to install a back fence for our house. After initial contact via e-mail, he promptly replied, asking to stop by the next day to evaluate the project. Arriving on time the following day, acquired his measurements and said he had an opening that weekend to install it, which surprised me at his speedy scheduling. He was extremely personable and made me feel very confident that he more than qualified for the job. He even noted out some things in our existing fence that could use repair and was very receptive when it came to my stipulations on how the fence needed to be done. He & his crew arrived and were finished within two days. I couldn’t believe how quickly they completed the job. They also made extra sure that the yard & driveway was cleaned up on completion. His rate was extremely reasonable for all that he did and how swiftly he completed the work. I will be contacting him again if any more fence or deck work is needed in the future. I've hired many contractors over the years and don't believe I've had one as prompt and dependable as Andy. He called and emailed exactly when he said he would, showed up at the time promised and finished the job precisely when he said he would. He really knows what he's doing and had several great suggestions for improvements to what we thought we were going to do. The deck turned out fantastic, and our yard is even cleaner than it was when he arrived! Andy's a gem.

Quality and quick

Andy is a very responsive contractor. His communication and follow-up is the best that I have ever experienced in hiring contractors for home repair or build. He showed up on time every day, provide status, recommended improvements to our original plan that made the deck and railing much high quality at a lower price. Any was also a pleasure to have around and his professionalism and quality of work is top notch. One last point, Andy's estimate was spot on and he also delivered on time. Andy was prompt and courteous- he said what he would do and did what he said- not my typical contractor experience. I would gladly hire him again!

He was veryprompt in responding to my request and came almost immediately to look at the job and give me a quotation. On the appointed date Andy called me in advance that he was coming. The job was completed in a reasonable time and the area cleaned up on his leaving. Although this was just a small job, replace one fence post he gave it the same consideration one would expect of a major project. The job entailed working among plants in my garden and Andy was careful to minimize any impact on them.

We had some struggles with my deck. The tannic acids in the hardwood reacted with the paint stripper, however Andy was able to correct it with some brightener and elbow grease. The stripper wouldn't have even been necessary if the previous contracter had used an appropriate product. Anyway, Deck looks great, Andy did a great job.

Andy did a good job and was very helpful and easy to work with. He does his own work!! He Sent photos to us as we are out of town for "before and after" project. Would hire again and would recommend his work. Very good pricing!
