They were prompt about getting out to do the job but did more harm than good. The repairs were to be made on a house that i had up for sale. I am in another state so i am depending on honesty and my realtor to help keep everything in order. They were only supposed to replace two vinyl corner strips but in the process, they damaged a piece of the existing siding. When they completed the job and sent me pictures, but the pictures were from an angle that didn't allow me to see the visible damage that they had caused. My realtor took pictures and sent them so I could review the work. After making numerous phone calls to get the problem fixed, they finally repaired their damage but with the wrong color. Yellow house, Gray piece of replaced siding. It took a few more phone calls and finally it was repaired properly. Point of the matter is that if someone botched a job, they shouldn't hide it and when confronted about it, they should make it right. Horrible customer service and not a very honest company in my opinion.

"As a company we stand by our work which is why we came out and fixed it after we were made aware of the problem. I do not believe the Craftsman noticed the cracked piece of siding as the customer is insinuating. If you do not see a crack, you are not going to concentrate on it in a picture. The customer is right, "when confronted about it, they should make it right" which the customer admits we did. Unfortunately, accidents do happen and the Craftsman rectified the matter, at our expense when it was brought to his attention. It took about a week from the start of the job to fix the issue. We apologize that it took longer than you would have liked, but we did have to move schedules around in order to do so. We did explain this to you every time that you called and we did the best we could do, under the circumstances to get there as quickly as possible. The customer tried to renegotiate the cost after agreeing to the price and the job was completed to his satisfaction. Rightly, we did not charge him for the repair for the mistake made by the Craftsman, only for the contracted job. He still has not paid for any portion of the labor or materials for the work that was properly completed."
