"We're sorry to hear that you were disappointed with your experience. We understand that unexpected repair costs can be frustrating, especially when a part is still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. While the manufacturer covered the replacement part, the labor warranty on the original repair was 30 days, as outlined on the invoice you received at the time of service. In this case, our company did not diagnose the previously installed part as being defective before the visit. You called for service and advised us that you believed the same part had failed again, and based on that information, we gave you the warranty information as documented on your original invoice. We did not actually diagnose your system. Although the repair was outside of our labor warranty period, we extended the labor warranty as a courtesy if it was the same part. The only charge we were unable to waive was the service call fee, which covers the technician's travel, time, and diagnostic evaluation. This is a standard policy that we apply consistently to all customers. We strive to be transparent with our warranty terms and pricing, and both the manufacturer's one-year parts warranty and our 30-day labor warranty are clearly stated on our invoices. While we understand this was not the outcome you were hoping for, we appreciate the opportunity to have served you and wish you the best moving forward."
"We?re sorry to hear you feel this way, but we do want to clarify a few important points for accuracy. Your system is still within the manufacturer?s parts warranty. However, as is standard across the industry, that warranty does not cover labor or refrigerant?those costs are the homeowner?s responsibility. This was explained at the time of service. During your visit, the system was found to be low on refrigerant, which typically indicates a leak. We discussed the diagnostic process and repair options with you, including the fact that locating a leak can be time-intensive depending on its location. No repairs were completed at that time. In an effort to ensure you felt confident in our findings, we also offered to send a second technician to perform an additional diagnosis at no charge. That offer was declined. We also want to note that a systems refrigerant does not get ?used up??if levels were low, there is a cause that should be addressed to prevent future problems. We take pride in the quality of our installations and service, and we stand behind our work."
