Angel's Remodeling- Unlicensed Contractor

Taking the time out to write this detailed review to WARN everyone about this group of people. TLDR version is DO NOT HIRE!! He is no Angel, but pure EVIL. The entire group of people are CHEATS. Do not believe his references and reviews, I feel they are all fake. It was a full house remodel. He left without completing the work. Some of the items are missing from the house. So now I know he is ABSCONDING. Even the work that he did do, it is super shabby and outright wrong. I guess I am to be blamed too for trying to help a small outfit and trusting them blindly. â ¨Example of messy work - He switched hot and cold water outlets and did not even let me test it because he realized he messed up. Now I have to spend a lot of money and time to remove all the tile work to get it fixed. Example of cheating - He just glued the air gap on the sink without any plumbing underneath and said it was finished. Example of lying - He took the full payment, pretended to leave his tools behind to make us believe he was going to be back, and took the tools in the middle of the night, left with my keys and never returned. Example of ethics - disappeared for weeks together to other jobs, kept us hanging with LIES after lies. I can go on and on with many more examples of about how these people are a group of SCAMMERS.

Completely agree with one of the reviewers here. He is super flaky. Disappears for days and weeks multiple times during the course of the project. All kinds of lame excuses. Obviously he is taking up multiple projects. Keeps you hanging wasting your time and money. We let it pass, but now he finally disappeared without finishing the work. Quality of work is not great, and at the cost of dealing with poor manners and ethics, I would not hire him.

He gets things done! Very patience at his craft makes sure everything is perfect. Definitely would hire again.

Angel and his crew remodeled an apartment for us including a bathroom, kitchen, new vinyl plank floors, electrical and plumbing. Prices are mid-range. Not cheap, but a third of a cost lower than another contractor. They do beautiful work and are very fast. They completed the project prior to the agreed-upon deadline. Even though Angel and his crew appear to be in their 20s, their level of expertise is comparable to professionals at least twice their age. We were very impressed.

Complete Flake. Angel came by to give me an estimate and told me he would start work the next day. Next day he texts me and says it is his brother s birthday so he is going to a party and would start work the following day. The following day he texts me mid-day and said he had emergency work. When I asked when he could start, he says he is really busy and cannot start for almost 2 weeks out. I told him he is being a complete flake and he told me he will pass on the job. Very unprofessional. Do not waste your time with him.

Excellent communication. Very punctual. Very nice and easy to work with.
