Chimney Cleaning and Inspection
We bought our house in February 2026, and it was missing a chimney cap. The sellers agreed to pay for the installation of a new chimney cap, and hired Anthony. They provided receipts showing the chimney cap and installation charge was paid for. First week of march, I realized it hadn?t been installed, and no one reached out to me about it yet. So I called Anthony and he said they would get to it ?next week?. He didnt show up, with no call or warning. He loosely scheduled another date 3 more times and the same thing happened, he never came to the house. He then began being extremely unprofessional and rude over the phone to both me and my husband, and then eventually completely ghosted us. DO NOT HIRE him! There?s no telling if the work that was prepaid will get done

I went on Angi's List to look for a Chimney Specialist, and the only one available was Anthony's Chimney Sweep out of Castle Rock, CO. Anthony Jones talks a good talk, but he NEVER finished the job, and I had ALREADY paid him for the parts needed and partial labor. I noticed the backside of my chimney was NOT even FINISHED. Anthony was supposed to complete his work on Oct 16, 2025, to put in my damper at 9 a.m., but NEVER showed. I tried calling, and the phone went directly to voicemail. I left him a text message, and he NEVER responded. I would NOT recommend using Anthony's Chimney Sweep to ANYONE whose chimney needs work. He is NOT reliable, and he is a total scam!

Would never use this guy or recommend him. Yelp reviews are horrible. Damaged the chimney chase cap and said everything was good. I got up to take a look at it and it was damaged. Held him accountable....long story short, he sent me the chase cap and told me to do it myself.

Anthony is terrific! I liked him, and he did the job to perfection. He arrived before time, was pleasant, positive, and professional, and knows his work very well. The only suggestion I have is to get the prices clarified up front. I had a chimney cap that had to be replaced and then a sealer added. I would have appreciated knowing beforehand a general estimate for how much it might cost for the services to avoid surprises. He could have given me an estimate for reattaching it if possible or the cost of replacing it. Otherwise, an excellent job.

Anthony was prompt, professional and did a fabulous job cleaning out my dryer vent.
The picture below represents only a fraction of what Anthony removed from the dryer, the connecting vent, and the vent to the roof. Not only had the dryer stopped drying, it was an accident waiting to happen. That amount of lint was a tremendous fire hazard. Anthony recommended that l have the vents cleaned annually, and l certainly will. In one afternoon, l have become a loyal customer. I will definitely be sharing his name with other members of my condo association.
