"We are a very responsible construction company and I personally care about very project we work on. I have an excellent tract record of making sure my customer gets what they want even if its at my expense. This particular project was a scam from the beginning and I regret feeling bad for the customer and trying to help him with his situation. This is one of those stories no one hears about the contractor being taking advantage of by the customer. The customer is a home flipper who started this project without permits and was ordered to STOP WORK by the town. The work as it turns out that he had his guys illegally do before I got there was botched and the town wanted everything removed and entire home brought to code, none of which was included in my contract. The department head personally told me to stay away from this guy as he has a track record of this. It turns out he does allot of these botched low income area non permitted flips. So I took the advise and got out of there. To any contractor reading this... Beware of shady guys posing as helpless customers who only want to use you for your contractors license!"
