Anytime Blinds & Shutters

Like the other reviews on this site I highly recommend you stay away from Josh Swanson and Anytime Blinds. I paid up front with a credit card and Josh started my job but didn't complete it. After that he would not return phone calls and I had to get my credit card company to intervine by threatening to reverse his payment. Later, when I had a problem with one of my Norman blinds with a lifetime warranty I could not get him to provide the warranty service. He lies, he will not return calls, and he's full of excuses for his behaviour (I've been ill; there was a death in mhy family, etc.). Just stay away from this guy and any business he is affiliated with.

DO NOT HIRE!!!!!! I purchased a set of blinds for 370$ in 2019. I Broke a slat in Feb 2023. I offered to pay for it but was told it was still under warranty by the rep Josh. A tech came to my house to look at a single panel slat that I had broken (there are 26 panels altogether) I was charged an $85 trip fee for him coming out to look at the piece. Which the tech took with him. Almost a month later on 3/13/23, I had heard nothing back so I called and left a message both with Josh as well as anytime blinds. I heard nothing back. I called LM again on 3/21/23. Nothing. On 3/23/23 I Called a 3rd time. Josh called me back apologized stated the tech who had been at my house had walked off the job and had been on vacation. He was very preoccupied and distracted during the call and stated he needed to call me right back. He did not. I made call number 4 on 3/24/23 and left a message. No response. Call #5 on 3/28/23, and left another message. He called me back stating he had found out they could not replace just one slat so he had to order 26 new slats. And that they would be in two weeks. That would be 4/11/23. I had not heard anything by Thursday 5/4/23 so I called back again. Josh answered and stated he was on his way to a funeral and would call me back in 24 hours. He did not. I decided to give grace and not contact him till Monday due to a death in his family. By Thursday I still had not heard back. I ended up calling both his # and the number of the any-time blind. No response. So here we are. Do not under any circumstance give your money to this company. READ THE REVIEWS AND GO WITH A LOCAL COMPANY NOT WITH ONE FROM AN HOUR AWAY WHO WILL CHARGE FOR EVERY TRIP, NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY AND AVOID THE CUSTOMER especially when they have been overly patient. Horrible business ethic.

Stay FAR AWAY!!! Took nearly 6000.00 at order in Dec and never got the blinds! Luckily for me, it was on a credit card and I disputed the charge! What a scammer! I hate to see USAA (credit card) out of the funds. Hopefully, they will get some money from him.

I hired Josh to do custom curtains in our living room, hang pre-bought curtains upstairs, and install blinds on our front and back doors. I paid over $5,000 upfront. Our job was delayed several times and Josh was very hard to get in touch with. He finally installed the curtains and told us the blinds were delayed but would be in March 1st. I have contacted him several times and it seems he has blocked my number. He will not answer calls, texts, or emails and still owes us $425 worth of product and left over curtain fabric I purchased from a 3rd party vendor. I guess I am going to have to file a suit in court to get my money back now.

Josh took my money and did not deliver the product and does not respond to phone calls or emails.

The guy took my money and he would not deliver the shutters, he would not contact me back even though he promise he would.

I wish I saw the negative reviews before working with Josh. In the beginning, he was super responsive to texts and messages. I waited 12 weeks before reaching out to Josh because he told me that it will take 8-10 weeks for him to receive the shipment. Similar to other 1 star reviews, calls went to a full voicemail. He responded to my text once and told me that the blinds are delayed and he would provide a new ETA. After that one text, the rest of my texts and emails were left unanswered. I emailed him using his business account and even sent new inquiries on his business website. He took my money in mid-September and it is now mid-January. I get it, delays happen, but at least have the decency to respond to your customers and provide updates. Very unprofessional. Currently disputing this charge with my credit card company.

This guy is a scam artist! Looked him up at BBB and he has scammed several people. Josh took my drapes and $1250.00. It has been 3 months and he does not return phone calls. Angi needs to vet this guy.

Josh was friendly and knowledgeable. Offered great prices and products during 9/20/21 consultation which also would be the last day I heard from him. No blinds, communication or refund.

Quick and efficient!

Josh responded quickly to my inquiry, was knowledgeable and professional. My installation appointment was set over the first call. Aaron, the installer, called ahead the morning of the installation, arrived on time, was personable, knowledgeable and professionally installed my shutter very efficiently. He even asked me if he could take all the packaging with him to drop-off at the waste center. Thank you Aaron. I would definitely do business with them again.

Responsive, professional but personable and do great work! My installer Aaron did excellent job of removing old mini blinds frm patio door n surrounding windows, n replacing w/ new motorized blinds that I purchased frm internet. Aaron programd blinds in the groupngs of operation tht I requestd; I am totally njoying my new SmartBlinds look n operations!!!

Took my money and was very hard to get a hold of after. Ordered and paid for blinds on April 7, 2021 and still, no Blinds and its Aug. Have not heard from him . Oct21- Got my money back only because I disputed the charge on my credit card. Sent in all the email and text messages. If you still think you want to risk it, make sure you have documentation of all correspondence.

Rip off, totally unreliable and unresponsive. I am out $ 4,000 because they failed to deliver any plantation shutters that I ordered and paid for. Now, they ignore my calls and emails.
