Really disappointing - Unprofessional, embarrassing, sexist, unacceptable. Cannot believe I paid over $1,000 for this service and it wasnt even completed to its entirety. Movers are hired to alleviate stress of the day. Feel like I was back and forth with the owner for over an hour throughout the day with issue after issue. The business sent a crew who could not be less enthusiastic about being there - something about a logistical issue on their end. Understand things happen, but this is not an issue of the clients. I booked a pack + move. The group I got was irritated that it wasnt just moving, and made that very clear to me. I went as far to purchase over $100 of boxes and materials for all of us to use and received no help at all from the team. All of them showed up reeking of weed. Later I noticed the guys bouncing boxes stacked 3 high with FRAGILE - GLASS& marked on all sides down 4 flights of stairs on a dolly. You could hear the clanking (naturally!) despite every item individually l wrapped with paper and bubble wrap. Large, wooden furniture & other bulky items were carried unwrapped and placed without mats. Brought this concern & received shrugs. I was later accused of not packing properly, which resulted in the crew leader screaming at me in the middle of my living room, attacking my character, and saying he was going to collect his payment and leave with only half my items on the truck. You can imagine what was running through my mind - are they going to drive off with my stuff?? Am I going to have to book other movers?? It was an extremely stressful and vulnerable position to be in, one a client should never experience. 1. They did not earn my trust treating my items so carelessly. Show up high, I am going to quarterback and manage the situation because I do not trust you are paying attention. 2. They did not address or alleviate my concerns on the two incidents listed when I spoke with them, rather, they yelled at me. 3. Rather than helping with packing (like I booked, like we agreed upon with me going to get materials) they kept asking me is this all, Are these all the boxes Even though items were still scattered about. This has resulted in me having to continue moving myself the day after the original booking. I am so frustrated. I wish I booked ANYONE ELSE. I can not believe I am still moving items from my previous location and having to re-coordinate move out dates. I specifically coordinated pack + move - why did they refuse both aspects at different levels?? No one helped pack, they did not complete the move. Never seen such a lack of leadership and professionalism. The remediation throughout all of this? I was told that all correspondence had to go through my boyfriend because the crew leader didn&t want to take orders from a woman (?????). Awesome. Despite this being my home, my items and my wallet footing the bill... unreal.

When I called to book these guys, I was told over the phone that there would be 3 movers. Only 2 came so of course that made for a longer job and a bigger payment amount. Yes, they seemed to have okay customer service but they hurried so much that they damaged 4 things of ours. One was a computer desk which had one of the legs completely broken off. Now how does that happen? Another brand new desk got banged up! Brand new! We will be using a different moving company next time!

It was 1200 dollars for the move-- I asked if this was with my veteran discount. They said oh yeah oh yeah.. It was terrible. Well labeled boxes were ignored ; boxes labeled fragile were put at the bottom of 5 box piles! I question if these three were just people he pulls in when he is busy. I honestly cannot believe they were movers. Items were not shrink wrapped, or put in blankets.. A leather sectional that is only 6 months old has torn leather on every corner of the 3 pieces that make up the complete sectional. I would never recommend them to anyone. Wardrobe boxes stacked UPSIDE DOWN! These 3 men were either unable to read labeled boxes, didn't care, or deliberately & maliciously destroyed my property. Only a 50 mile move. If this move would have been to another state, none of the furniture or boxes would have been intact. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY.

Hello Leslie, Unfortunately, you feel you had a not-so-pleasant experience with our movers. The movers are full-time professional movers that have worked with us for years. They are very reliable, professional, hardworking men that have many years of moving experience between them. You scheduled your move as an itemized move. The itemized moving proposal was emailed to you before move day for your review. You had significant additional items on move day and a few subtracted items from your inventory list. This is why there was a price increase on your move. Please refer to the amendment sheet you signed and dated on move day. As for the discount, you were given a 20% discount on your move. Again, this is listed on your moving proposal and moving contract; therefore, you were informed of the discount before move day and again on move day. Please review your inventory list and amendment sheet as there is no mention of wardrobe boxes. Household furniture is pad/quilt wrapped at the trailer before transport not padded in your house due to having a greater risk of an incident while trying to move large heavy items with quilt padding on them. At no point have you mentioned a damaged sectional except in your reviews. Again, it is disappointing you chose to write this review instead of calling and speaking to us regarding your disappointment in your move.
