Garrett seems like a very nice person, and other people seem to like his work, so perhaps I just got unlucky. I had him look at a wiring issue with an appliance, and he recommended that I get some new circuitry installed in the kitchen of my 1950s house. I agreed, and we set up a time for him to come over when I had to be away for work. He ran bare industrial conduit screwed into the walls all around my kitchen and then got defensive when I said that it looked completely insane. Perhaps it was partially my fault for not getting more information on how he was going to do this work, but it just never occurred to me that someone would do wiring work in this way. It almost had a malicious compliance feel to it, like functional up to code, works, but in no way what anyone would want. I showed it to family friends who are retired electricians and contractors, and they all thought it was hilarious. So I had to tear it all down and re-do it myself, and that has been great to learn, but I would rather have not wasted the $2500 I paid him. He seems like a good electrician, but I would recommend making sure that you get a clear picture of his plan and monitor what he is doing.

Garret has practically become a de facto member of our family! He's done amazing work for us, wired the house for solar, put in new plugs, replaced ceiling fans, put in a car-charging outlet, the list goes on. He's super responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and has been there when we needed him for emergency repairs (I broke an outlet right before listing our house). Can't recommend Aperture highly enough.

I had pendant light fixtures replaced with new hardware and rehung to accommodate using my wife's handmade stained glass shades. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. Garrett is totally a professional and competent electrician. I won't hesitate calling him for any future electrical projects.

He responded quickly, saw several options for ways to do the small project, and finished it all in one visit. It was expensive, but worth it. He is very pleasant to work with.

The owner came to my home on my schedule, researched the electrical problem, came back with the correct materials and repaired the problem. He was very personable. A valuable contractor.

They did a great job installing circuit breaker and wring from garage to kitchen. The were very easy to get along with. They also diagnosed and fixed a couple of nagging wiring problems. I would definitely hire them again.
