I helped oversee a rental apartment remodel that Apex American Homes completed, and I was very impressed with how everything went. I’ve been around plenty of properties, contractors, and projects over the years, so I pay close attention to communication, quality, and whether the work is being done the right way. Apex handled everything in the apartment, including the flooring, painting, kitchen updates, countertops, two bathrooms, electrical work, and exterior stucco repair. Igor had great suggestions throughout the project and helped with the design and finish material selections. The work came out really clean, the apartment looks completely updated, and they finished earlier than expected. This was by far the best experience I’ve had with a contractor. Apex American Homes is now my go-to contractor for future work, and I would definitely recommend them.

We enjoyed a good experience with Apex. Their craftsmen were skilled and worked with an attention to detail that indicated they had pride in their workmanship. There were some project delays some of which were unavoidable due to weather, and a couple that could have shown some improvement. But despite that we really had no issues with the project.

We hired Apex to initially redo 2 bathrooms and ended up redoing the upstairs flooring, repainting walls and doors, replaced some cabinets, and even did some flooring and work downstairs as well. Apex did a complete remodel of the interior of my home. New Kitchen (cabinets, countertops, appliance installation etc.), Bathroom Vanities, new LVP Floors / baseboards throughout the house, and complete interior paint. Igor and his team did a fantastic job. It's like a new house. They promised quick work and they delivered! I was living in the home throughout this process so I really wanted this done as quickly as possible. Unlike other contractors that I had previously, there was a team of people doing something almost every day until the work was done. Their price was competitive too! I had four different estimates and it came down to two. I went with Apex because they promised a quicker timeline. They have experts in all areas from plumbing/electrical, to quartz countertops and floors. You have to trust someone to do your remodel. I trusted Apex and I am glad I did.

I hired Apex American Homes here in Vista to refinish my kitchen and replace the countertops. I built this kitchen myself with my husband about 50 years ago, so keeping the original cabinet material was important to me. I just wanted everything refreshed and a new countertop. Igor was a pleasure to work with. He helped me pick the right materials while giving great advice on how to make the space more usable. His team didn’t just paint over the cabinets. They did everything the proper way, were very clean, punctual, and never cut corners. They even replaced all of the hinges for me. He connected us with his insurance specialist and somehow they got us $25k more than what we were about to settle for! That alone blew our minds. They did not just come in to remodel, they actually helped me through the whole process. Igor connected me with someone who understood how to handle insurance claims and thanks to that I was able to get more funds approved than I expected. That made a huge difference because I could finally choose the finishes I really wanted. Once work started, Luis was there almost every day making sure everything ran smoothly. I am so grateful to Igor and his team for my new kitchen ! Amount of care, attention to detail and work they put in blew me away. One thing which was such a pleasure to see is how happy and respectful his workers were. Everyone worked together not just like a team but as a one perfect engine! They always wanted to make sure that my house is taken care of, no trash left in the vicinity and each time they would leave the place it would be organized and ready for the next day. It was a pleasure to see them work!

Igor & Apex does a great job. They were extremely fast as I asked them to be flexible when we needed them to be an overall great to work with. this was an emergency due to a leak in both bathrooms and insurance dragging their feet and I had a tenant that I need to get back into my lower unit (in addition to my own bathroom where I live upstairs). My only regret (which I do not blame the team for 100%) is that we weren't able to spend as much time and communication upfront with planning, materials, budgeting and scheduling, etc. Due to the time pressure It cost a little bit of rework, however Igor was good about sharing costs of change orders, where the cause was not clearly my own doing. So overall, this is a great team and Igor is amazing. I would just encourage anyone to take the time needed upfront for true planning and design.
