James and his crew did an amazing job, brought our floors from 1881 back to life and like new! We decided to go with the semi gloss finish after much education and direction from James. He is very knowledgeable and helped us achieve the exact look we were going for. My husband and I plan to use him for other jobs in the near future and would refer him to any friend or family.

the floors that were refinshed were 100 years old and had been covered by wall to wall carpet for the last 40 years, James was able to make these floors look like they had just been installed. The price that Apex floors quoted was significantly lower than other quotes we were given. James was also very accomadating when we needed to reschedule. We would definitly recomend Apex Floors.

Responding to a request posted on Home Advisor, James quickly came to our home and gave a thorough explanation and estimate of the job to be done. We were interested in refinishing the hardwood floors of our circa 1961 home. Having lived there for 17 years, they were past due for sanding and sealing. I was concerned about fumes and had researched dustless sanding which James was knowledgeable about. He also encouraged exploration of his website with photos of his completed projects. We decided on three coats of waterborne sealer, and did the work in two stages, allowing for furniture moving. The crew took extensive protective and clean up measures, with minimal dust or smell. All through the project James has been professional, courteous, punctual, and thorough. I highly recommend him!

James is especially good at communicating, so you always know exactly what to expect.Our floors look AMAZING. I would say he's a bit of a perfectionist, so the project was completed to the highest standard. Also, the cleanup was excellent--really no dust left behind.
