Wood Fence Repair
I know this rating seems low, but fence repair is not A-Plus main job. Todd was very nice, personable. I liked him very much, but I have no idea to this day exactly what was fixed/replaced on the fence that cost $680.00, I did hire A-plus for some electrical work and it was done timely and efficiently. I thought the price was high, but I did not get any other estimates, so my fault. I do wish that on both jobs, I could have gotten an itemized bill, ie; parts, labor etc., not just a written description.

Had Todd and crew out to fix vanity. They came out on Saturday and adjusted drain. $160. Leaked the next day. They came back the following Friday to readjust drain - said nothing was wrong. I got an estimate from Todd the week before to install kitchen sink faucet, disposal, and connect drain and dishwasher. $250-500. Ok. They came out and had to leave twice for the hardware store. Said he didn?t remember that I needed the disposal hooked up. They finally finished everything. He told me the price was $800. I paid them and they left. 1st run Dishwasher leaked all over new floors. I took it apart and found out that they never removed the stop plug in the disposal. Water wouldn?t drain. I sent Todd a message with my concerns and disappointment and he never responded. Nice guy, but not the best follow through or attention to detail.

Gas Boiler or Radiator Heating System Repair
Todd came very quickly after contact and did a PM on both our boilers for a very reasonable price. Him and his assistant were very personable, friendly and I will trust them with work in the future, I am sooo glad I kicked my previous service provider for this work to the curb! Look forward to seeing you in the spring for further (older) boiler repair/replacement. Thank you!

Water Heater - Repair or Service
Todd called me right away and came to the rescue. He got to my house within an hour, diagnosed a dead hot water tank. He removed, purchased,and installed a new tank within a few hours on a late Friday evening. I truly appreciated his kindness but also his professionalism. This was my second encounter with Todd and his team. It won't be the last. Thank you!

They stayed until 9:00 pm and finished the job that day. I would hire them again, they did a good job and in a very timely manner.

Water Heater - Install or Replace
They replaced my water heater. Called them Saturday and they replaced it Sunday. I've never before had to replace a water heater so I'm not sure if the price was right. But they had the job done in one day over a weekend which was fantastic and probably worth the price.

Hired them to repair an air circulation problem. They did not listen to my problem. Instead, they investigated a supposed problem with the condenser unit and allegedly added coolant to the tune of $450.00. It would seem they are ripping off elderly people.

"Hi Allen,Hope you are doing well! Very surprised at your comment since you were very happy with our work and your A/C unit was working much better when we were done. While we were there we checked your systems pressure using our gauges and determined your system was low on refrigerant. Your type of refrigerant is R-22, which is no longer produced and costs quite a bit to purchase. We also checked your filters, ventilation dampers, all electrical and mechanical components, and cleaned your outside unit from dirt and other debris. Our technician also suggested you will need to upgrade your air conditioner soon and/or have annual maintenance checks done on your equipment. However, you told our technician you didn't care to do that because of your age. Lastly, you signed our receipt and accepted the charges. Sorry that you feel the way you do, but I feel that you were treated fairly. Thanks for your business! Todd-Aplus Services."

so unprofessional. paid to them to evaluate the problem. $75. they originally thought the issue was the water going in my toilet, and while one was explaining the other one stated it must be the water going out. They decided not to lift the toilet to see if the the issue was at the base of the toilet. But they offered to put a hole in my wall for an additional $250. Stated they do not take credit card only cash and checks. Also do not take debit cards. I decided against paying him an addition $250 to put a hole in my wall and suggest he follow me to the bank since i did not have cash on me and i do not use checks. while at the atm in line i got a call back from the post office and was discussing a package that was taken back to the office due to postage due. the passenger appeared out of no where and asked if i wanted him to get in the passenger side of my car. i stated no. Still on the phone the guy is talking to me and i hand him my money, forgetting i took an extra $20 out to get my meds. I drive off and remember and call Todd to see where he is at and pretends he do not know and states let me check my gps. i finally yell and say pull over and tell me what street you are on. he was 2 (small) blocks away from the bank. when i get there john i standing at the corner and basically tells me it is my fault for talking on the phone and driving. I feel i paid for my situation to be evaluated and it was not (meaning the could have at the very least check the toilet). Feeling totally ripped off!!
