Sump Pump - Repair or Replace
In general, my experience with Apollo has been okay (i.e. not great but not terrible). However the last two visits seem to indicate a downturn. The second last visit (plumbing related) I was charged an exorbitant amount for a simple task and this most recent visit I had a technician who apparently needed some more training. He replaced the light in the UV air filter device on my heat pump and left it beeping and it's LED indicator light flashing. I couldn't hear the high pitched beeping but saw the LED and brought it to his attention but he said it was normal (which it wasn't). To their credit, Apollo later dispensed a more seasoned tech who took care of things.

Very overpriced. Major leak discovered 5 days after a service call for loss of air conditioning- which came first the proverbial "chicken or the egg." Called to speak to management- refused to be transferred on the phone after the phone answered would not or could not answer my questions. I suspect the first technician caused the subsequent problem or missed the "major leak." Quote for repair very high $$$! Going with another company who was my second opinion for repair.

Apollo was great about communicating with me before service. The technician (Daniel) arrived well within the time window specified. He was professional, diagnosed the problem correctly, fixed it, and patiently answered all of my questions regarding both the original problem, and future maintenance issues. Based on my experiences, I would choose Apollo again, and I will recommend them to anyone with home systems repair needs. I awarded five stars, and they earned each one!
