They did a great job with my kitchen, and everyone was very easy to work with. Ed did a phenomenal job with the tile, and the countertops and floor all look great. Ed did my bathroom floor also, and it is sooo pretty!

Easy to work with area and layout I wanted. Crew was quick and efficient.

Birch and Shawn are great contractors. The attention to detail is top notch. They do not rush the job, they are there until it is complete to satisfaction. If something unexpected comes up, it is brought to the owners attention as well as options for fixing the issue. They were there through the whole process to ensure things went without incident. I would highly recommend them for anything! They are a great team!

First we lie to, about number items, they refuse to pull permits, they did worst job I ever seen they had redo elec I do not know how many times, all them that came was lazy, lie to us, and was worst remodel I ever seen, nothing said to us was true, then they denied them saying it, and they protect themselves by hiring inspectors from different counties, to do work I got ask if not a pay off I do not know what one is, would never allow them to step a foot on my land. They had no clues what they were doing, or how do it right, these reviews I must question as they try set us up, and it is odd the company they suppose be part of name is spelled different by one letter, I would miss this if I was not told, that they have nothing to do with one in FL, as so came, u the best defense recorded every thing, let nothing go unrecorded take photos, and make sure permits is pulled, as city will protect their own, and will not go after them that also part government even if it is breaking the laws.

All the employees (Const Superintendent, Project Mgr, Installer, Sub-contractor-driveway) that work for this company. are very efficient, professional, easy to get along with, courteous w/homeowner time. Also, if you have questions, and you forgot to ask about something in the beginning, you call and you will get a phone call back that day!! We hired them for bathroom tile/paint/small plumbing/ for a family mbr. The Superintendent walked us thru what had to be done. and everything turned out beautifully! There was a small hiccup (plumbing) but it was resolved the same day! 2wks later, We hired Appelman to redo our driveway, that was a total mess! Superintendent walked us thru what was going to be done and what/how it was going to be replaced. It was done in 1 and half days!! However. another hiccup. but, it was resolved that day as well!! What we have learned about doing any kind of construction, there is Always going to be something that unforeseen. so you just roll with it, be flexible. b/c in the end, it will be done right. and w/the guarantee on ALL of their labor/workmanship. for 1yr. that is what sold us!! plus, they care about what they are doing for the homeowner!! Job well done on 2 different properties!! Thank You!!

All of the individuals from the company were professional, efficient, pleasant. Additionally it was a pleasure to watch them work as they enjoyed what they were doing and worked well as a team. Great job!

I am currently editing this after a myriad of problems and it taking way too long to get it done. I spoke to Harold Childs and the owners of this company and they are doing everything they can to get this accomplished. Not pleased with how long this is taking, but it seems to be back on track.

In late June we found out we needed to replace our deck due to structural issues. We were having a huge party on 7/7 so it had to be done. We met with the representative from Appelman and found him to be knowledgeable and helpful. We gave him our totally unrealistic time limit. He didn't promise to meet it and we appreciated his honesty. The bid presented was for labor only and we had to purchase the supplies on our own. Never having built anything we did have to struggle as we had no idea what or how many components we would need. Everything had to be special ordered as we were building a Trex deck. This also cost us time waiting for deliveries. The builders were amazing. They worked through storms and oppressive heat to try to complete the job for us. One of the workers actually suffered from heat exhaustion one day. The main builder was Steve Beck. I can't say enough about him. He not only worked through the heat and the thunderstorms, he stayed until 9PM a couple times and even gave up his Fourth of July to get the deck to a usable condition. He is old school and believes if a job is worth doing it should be done right. If you can get him to work on your project you are sure to be totally satisfied. The deck was completed yesterday, 8/18 but it was absolutely usable for the party. Steve Beck did a fantastic job. The only negative of our experience was this.....it is clearly stated on the bid that the final payment is not due until the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction. Several weeks before completion I was persuaded to submit the final check. I know, my fault. I gave the check based on the PROMISE that it would not be cashed until completion of the job. I even mentioned that if for some reason the check was going to be cashed early I needed to know so I could transfer funds into my checking account to cover it. I guess you see where this is going. The check was cashed without my knowledge. Fortunately I have a friend who works at my bank and I was advised that I was overdrawn by a couple thousand dollars. If not for her all of my payments for the month, insurance, utilities, credit cards, etc. would have bounced. I would recommend Appelman in the future because the work was top notch but I would recommend holding that final payment until the job is done.

United Installs installed my hardwood flooring in my kitchen. Two workers completed aprox 175 sq ft in just under a day. They also installed the baseboards. If you're comparing having a floor installed I would highly recommend United Installs again. The only draw back I have is a scheduling issue that pushed the start time of the work back by one day. However, this was not due to quality or craftsmanship. I would use them again.
