The people who moved our furniture were superb, friendly, and courteous. We couldn't have asked for more.

In-State Moving Service
Beware of the bad estimates and sketchy promises by the sales team. The local salesperson that came to the house to confirm the truck size that was needed was totally WRONG! Barbara said everything in the rancher, outside shed and fully packed 10x10 storage unit would definitely fit in (1) 26 feet box truck. She declined to see the storage unit less than 10 minutes away. We received our original quote from Mike in Virginia not knowing there was a local office. Mike and the dispatch were very attentive. The contents of the house and storage unit packed the truck completely and the was no room at all for the shed. The reason we hired the mover was that we needed the manpower for lifting. I told Mike that we were now going to have to get a Uhaul for the items in the shed which is more money for us and a complication because we needed to settle on the home in a few days. Mikes solution: "Go get a Uhaul and we will pay for it and get the guys to load it while they are there" This was awesome and solved the problem with a little complication that my husband had to drive, but okay. The cost was about $240 + fuel refill because the truck had to be returned to the facility where it was rented which meant more mileage. We rented, started driving and Mike called to check on things. I told him about the rental price and he said, "they are not going to pay that. The Uhaul place ripped you off. Could not you just go one way with the truck? They only authorized me for up to $100" Needless to say the billing discrepancy lasted for over a week because we wanted them to honor their promise with the Uhaul especially since Barbara quoted the necessary WRONG from the start. THE POSITIVE: THE 3 MOVING GUYS WERE ABSOLUTELY AWESOME AND PROFESSIONAL AND PACKED THE TRUCK TIGHT. THEY WERE RESPECTFUL TO ALL OF the US, BOTH HOMES AND OUR PROPERTY. BRENDA IN ACCOUNTING WAS GREAT AND UNDERSTOOD THE MISCOMMUNICATION THAT WAS HAPPENING AND WHY I WOULDN'T PAY THE BILL UNTIL IT WAS RIGHT.
